They gave me the run around with new requests every time I called for 3 months. The last time they told me they don't "like" to see patients who don't have previous records that they can review. As in they won't take new patients with new issues? I have decided to go elsewhere as I don't trust them with my care.

Radiology department receptionist Elijah, very rude and making fun of patients today, rolling his eyes laughing at patients turning to his co workers and pointing and laughing. Ppl are already sick. And not feeling well. We need more ppl who are compassionate, and want to help ppl. Elijah in radiology is a poor example. I don’t care if he has the credentials but with his attitude and sarcastic remarks is a bad employee. Hph u need to start hiring ppl who truly has a compassion to making a difference helping ppl etc not just look at what education or experience they have. Look deeper. Elijah your a poor example to represent Straub medical center n hph. Very very very bad employee!

I honestly think I will give up. It's so damn hard to get a colonoscopy here. I filled out the referral and a screening RN calls me at her convenience. Well I try calling her back and she doesn't answer. Tried calling the front desk twice and waited over 20 minutes on the line both times. So much for helping with colon cancer screening.
