Dr. Russo has seen my daughter for sleep medicine follow up since moving on island and he has already helped so much. This is our 3rd sleep medicine physician and he has been the most knowledgeable thus far and had solid recommendations for how to treat my daughter. He was very thorough, requesting records from her last providers. He provided a recommendation for another specialist to further care. The only struggle is getting a hold of the office - it took multiple calls for a return call. However, be persistent and get in, because he gives good, thorough care to his patients.
If God fashioned the perfect Neuroscience and Sleep Doctor… even beyond that, would be Dr. Michael Russo. Like a “Norman Rockwellian” having in his “quiver,” a plethora of ideas to anything we ask, all the while, from the beginning of tests to the finest most experienced advice in America, treating us like family, with a wit and “Divine” sparkle in his eye.
For over a decade we’ve experienced his admirable staff all mirror him, so it is like having an entire team to help you restore your health, even if the roots go back over 4 decades, like us and with no medications!
Dr Russo and his staff were lifesavers for me. Following a serious car accident on the Big Island, I simply could not seem to get an order for a much needed cervical MRI. 6 “months” later I finally found Dr Russo in Hilo. He was deeply compassionate and ordered an MRI immediately which then led to major surgery on my cervical spine. His Hilo staff were warm and kind and felt like “family.” His coordinating staff for his Honolulu office, especially Kristen with whom I’ve worked with directly, have also been kind, responsive and efficient. Highly recommended!
