“MRC Roofing to the rescue. My flat roof sustained wind damage from the heavy winds recently. I spoke with a few roofers that didn’t know their way around an insurance claim or know how to communicate or advocate for me, the homeowner in regards to the insurance adjusters who tried to minimize my claim as a repairable option for my roof that was not repairable, per the manufacturer’s technical factory representative that had to write a letter to my claim office that my type of roof was not repairable on CertainTeed company letter head. Luckily, Jon at MRC knew how to push for a total reroof in order to get me made whole again with a total reroof that came with a 50-year material warranty and 7-year workmanship warranty, where as a repair scope would have left me without a warranty on my roof at all.

Luckily MRC has journeyman roofers on their crew that know how to handle lumber repair, which my roof needed a lot of (unforeseeable). My insurance company drug their feet as long as they could. They even went out and got a fourth roofer’s opinion in order to reject my claim. MRC then coated my new roof with a thick layer of commercial grade silicone and has a high reflectivity rating. I shouldn’t ever have worry about my main roof again. I highly recommend MRC Roofing.“

“Shon’s crew did an outstanding job replacing our 1960s vintage tile roof with a modern standing seam metal roof. Where there was previously open skip sheeting underneath the tile, they put down a solid plywood base, added a waterproof high temperature stick-on underlayment followed by 1 inch foam insulation, then a good-looking Country Red metal roof and solar powered attic ventilation fan. I was very happy to see them do a thorough cleanup afterwards, and salvage nearly all of the old tile for potential reuse elsewhere on island. Project Manager Chaz kept me informed of their progress. He and daily crew chief Edgar answered any questions that I posed to them. I wholeheartedly recommend Surface Shield Roofing (SSRC Hawaii) and I’m hoping Google lets me append photos to this review as the pictures tell the story.“

Bernard came to my home found the roof leak right away and sent a proposal in a couple of days. He sent his carpenter to assess the rotted exterior wall. “Murakami Roofing did my parent's roof a few years earlier, and close to the end of the warranty, Mom noticed some odd water drops on the dining roof table after a heavy rain. “We contacted several different roofers to get quotes and also gather information on different types of roofing materials. We had multiple roofing companies come out to share information and give us quotes. All were pretty much in range with each other, but we selected Tory's based on feeling good about working with Noah and his family.We weren't wrong.The crew was friendly and efficient. Every single one of them greeted us with a "good morning" when they arrived, and a "good bye" at the end of the day.You can tell a crew that works well together because there's very little talking. “I had my windows installed about 1 /12 years ago with Tropical Wholesale. I still love them and find that the customer service is excellent with them. One of my screens clips snapped when I was washing the windows just recently and I didn't know how to fix it. Matt, himself came to my house and replace two clips and put the window screens back on my window. He was very courteous and professional. I see negative reviews about Tropical Wholesale but I believe it is just the competitors sending those reviews out. They get 5 stars from me.Debbie K“
