But with summer around the corner I really tried to get over the anxiety so I could get some length chopped off, so I gave House of Hair a try…
I made an appointment with Diamber (for Sunday) and after arriving I realized technically they are ‘closed’ but she opened the Salon up anyways to take care of me and anyone else who possibly walked into the door. She came straight from church to do my hair!! Diamber is absolutely phenomenal!!! I originally came to have my hair chopped, but she did notice the horrible balayage job - how golden and uneven and harsh it was and offered to help fix it. I was really nervous but I had to gut feeling to trust her, the Lord told me to trust her.
I gave her full freedom to help me fix it, she asked questions about everything to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, he educated me and explained what the other salon did wrong and why my hair came out horrible. She is MAGIC!!

Not only did I get the ‘luxury spa treatment’ feeling from here, but we had great conversation! Chatted about our faith, life, kids, etc. having my hair done my Diamber here is a whole vibe!!

I wanted a good chop, NO LAYERS and face framing but NOT curtain bangs and she did EXACTLY that, even taught me how there are different types/styles of “layering” and how I use to get layers was not right for my hair type. She convinced me to try some layers, I was sooo nervous but it came out amazing, I feel so beautiful.
This salon is going to be my go-to spot and I’m never letting anyone touch my hair unless is Diamber!! I HIGHLY recommend!!!“

Ashley is a great stylist (the real Ashley, I believe sometimes her mom whose named Araceli, acts as her. I can only speak from my experience with Ashley directly), who's very educated and well informed on exactly staying within the bounds of what you want, while also adding her personal touch and staying realistic on what she can do. She is a bit sassy at times, but I like them with a little sass lol“
