I recently had an incredible experience getting my hair cut by Amber! Despite arriving late due to Google Maps rerouting me down Buford Drive… Amber welcomed me with genuine kindness and patience!

This was my first professional haircut in over five years (DIY wolf cuts with dull scissors definitely don’t count!), so I was a bit nervous and indecisive. Amber took the time to talk through my hair goals and carefully designed a cut that would both suit me and support my hair’s health. Even though I arrived late, she never rushed and took the time to ensure I was comfortable with every decision before beginning the cut.
The wash experience was so relaxing! Amber used a leave-in mask and steam treatment, which left my hair feeling so much happier.

I also loved being able to personalize my appointment when booking! I was able to select options for everything from my drink choice to the aromatherapy scent, and even whether I preferred a chatty or quiet visit!
I had scheduled the appointment option for extra time, expecting my hair’s condition would require it, but Amber let me know it wasn’t necessary, so she removed that charge before checkout!

I usually feel anxious about how my hair will turn out after a cut, but thanks to Amber’s expert brush styling (a technique I’m still trying to master) my hair looked better than I’ve ever managed on my own! She even found a way to tame my stubborn cowlick!
For the first time, I truly loved my hair right after a cut! It looked great all week, and, for once, I didn’t feel the need to rewash it immediately.

As Amber styled my hair, she talked me through each product and technique she used. Afterward, she gave me a folder of personalized recommendations, detailing the exact products, application steps, and styling methods. My appointment even included a complimentary product chosen specifically for my needs.

A week later, Amber followed up to see how my hair was doing and to check if I had any questions. When I replied that I was nervous about trying the new routine on my own, she reassured me that learning something new takes time and encouraged me to be patient with myself. I’ve never had a stylist show this level of care or even send a follow-up message!
Although I still need to practice the techniques Amber taught me, I’m already looking forward to my next appointment and another hands-on lesson!

I honestly can’t recommend Amber enough!

* A day before your appointment you’ll receive an email and text with links to personalize your appointment and a video about how to get to the suite. Watch the video; I missed it and it definitely made getting inside a lot more difficult!

* If you’re coming from Lawrenceville, avoid Buford Drive if at all possible, no matter how your map tries to direct you!!“

“I took my kid who is hyper terrified of the adult hair salon for a back to school haircut since the ones we were doing at home looked horrible. We were the only guests when we arrived and right away we got booked in and seated at a cutting station. The stylist was very gentle and patient with my kid who is on the spectrum. For the first time my kid sat still and actually let the stylist cut her hair. Nary a scream or tantrum. The stylist was done in like 15 minutes. (I only wanted a classic kid bowl cut for my daughter so it wasn't an overly elaborate haircut). I got the 1st Haircut Special since this was technically my kid's 1st professional haircut.
