“I was referred by a friend to visit Emilee for a Brazilian wax. I ended up doing a Brazilian and an eyebrow wax. There are literally no words good enough to describe the experience I had. Booking online was extremely easy and user friendly. Her knowledge regarding what she does is shown in the proof of the way she works. While Brazilian waxes are not for the faint hearted, she does well to keep you comfortable and she works fast without causing the pain to feel unbearable. She gave me wonderful tips on breathing techniques and aftercare. Then for my eyebrows; y'all….I have always had red around my eyebrows for, at minimum, 2 days every time I had my eyebrows waxed. When Emilee was finished, I was red for maybe 45 mins and it was completely back to normal. The last place I went to for my eyebrows, over waxed one of my tails. She gave me a game plan on how we could correct it, but was honest with me that it was going to take time. I would recommend Emilee to anyone and I will confidently be a repeat customer moving forward.“

“After getting a horrible cut and “balayage” at a different salon, I began to have extreme trust issues with other people messing with my hair…
But with summer around the corner I really tried to get over the anxiety so I could get some length chopped off, so I gave House of Hair a try…
I made an appointment with Diamber (for Sunday) and after arriving I realized technically they are ‘closed’ but she opened the Salon up anyways to take care of me and anyone else who possibly walked into the door. She came straight from church to do my hair!! Diamber is absolutely phenomenal!!! I originally came to have my hair chopped, but she did notice the horrible balayage job - how golden and uneven and harsh it was and offered to help fix it. I was really nervous but I had to gut feeling to trust her, the Lord told me to trust her.
I gave her full freedom to help me fix it, she asked questions about everything to make sure I was getting exactly what I wanted, he educated me and explained what the other salon did wrong and why my hair came out horrible. She is MAGIC!!

Not only did I get the ‘luxury spa treatment’ feeling from here, but we had great conversation! Chatted about our faith, life, kids, etc. having my hair done my Diamber here is a whole vibe!!

I wanted a good chop, NO LAYERS and face framing but NOT curtain bangs and she did EXACTLY that, even taught me how there are different types/styles of “layering” and how I use to get layers was not right for my hair type. She convinced me to try some layers, I was sooo nervous but it came out amazing, I feel so beautiful.
This salon is going to be my go-to spot and I’m never letting anyone touch my hair unless is Diamber!! I HIGHLY recommend!!!“

“I had such a great experience at Enliven Hair Studio. I went in for a cut and highlights, and my stylist Kristen was amazing. She really took the time to listen to what I wanted and walked me through the entire process so I felt comfortable and understood what she was doing. She’s very knowledgeable, talented, and genuinely sweet.

The salon itself is also adorable—super clean, inviting, and such a relaxing environment. You can tell they really care about their space and their clients’ experience.

“It is very hard to find a stylist who is not only good, but who can do what I request and not make the simple layered haircut I asked for-- make me look hideous. I have very thick and puffy hair and if the layers are too short, they make me look like Dora since the layers are super obvious!

Ashley is a great stylist (the real Ashley, I believe sometimes her mom whose named Araceli, acts as her. I can only speak from my experience with Ashley directly), who's very educated and well informed on exactly staying within the bounds of what you want, while also adding her personal touch and staying realistic on what she can do. She is a bit sassy at times, but I like them with a little sass lol“

“This nail salon is one of the best ones in Gainesville. Their prices are reasonable and the service they provide is amazing! I recently came in on a Friday to get my nails done and got a French manicure gel set. The paint was unfortunately chipping off within the 2 days.. but I came the following Monday and spoke to Kim, the manager, about it and without hesitation she took care of me and got my nails fixed within the hour I arrived! Julie and Kim both were able to fix my nails and I’m so happy with the results! They have earned me as a returning customer because I will be coming back again!(:“

“I absolutely love Breauna. I initially went to her for a balayage, and she has been nothing short of exceptional in every way. I have lightened my hair, darkened my hair, got a perm, and got fashion colors.
I don’t think there’s anything she’s done I’ve ever been unhappy with. Even when I’m unsure about something and ask for her input, she’s always managed to give me something I love. I’m comfortable letting her have creative freedom because she is spectacular at what she does. I couldn’t ask for a better stylist to work with.
The front desk staff are also super friendly and kind which makes even the short time waiting enjoyable.“
