After moving to Ellijay in May I needed to find a stylist who could cut my hair in the same way as my friend has been cutting it for the past ten years. Cindy did a fantastic job! My cut was perfect and exactly what I wanted. The price is very affordable, and the resident adorable dog was a definite plus. I look forward to returning.

I got a haircut from 2 days ago from a hairstylist I was going to for years. Something very strange happened because she completely botched my hair to a point I didn't think could be salvaged. I was so desperate to find someone to fix the mess, but I didn't know where to start. I asked around and I saw that Kathy received great reviews, so I called and left her a message. She called me back and fortunately another customer had canceled so she worked me in. Kathy is a miracle worker!! I love what she did to my hair and she now has a lifetime customer. Her expertise effortly shows in her work! I seriously, now REFUSE to go anywhere else. Kathy, I love you!! THANK YOU!!

I have not been to a barber shop since 7th grade. My dad took me to real Italian barbers in NY for the experience. I had Edward Scissor Hands night mares for years.
Yesterday I let Tammy tear that band aid off, it didn't hurt and I had the best experience, with tears of laughter.
Freinds and neighbors freaked out, my wife of 43 years, well jury is out, hair cut is good but still can't believe I went to barber cut my hair.

Michael was great to work with in a basement kitchen install with a drop ceiling. His prices were fair and the crews arrived on time and did a fantastic job. We will be using him again for another room next year. Good, honest, dependable contractor...a big deal in these times.

Kira was absolutely phenomenal — a true hair magician and such a joy to have on our wedding day! She made everyone feel beautiful, confident, and so well taken care of. Every single one of my bridesmaids raved about how much they loved their hair, and both my mom and mother-in-law were over the moon with their looks. We were showered with compliments all day and night!

I don't usually, but I needed a last minute appointment. The receptionist who answered the phone at Spectra was very friendly and helpful and did not make me feel like I was a nuisance (as the first salon I called did, but things work out for a reason, because I was able to get an appointment here instead). They were able to fit me in and Colleen did a beautiful job cutting and styling my hair! She was so friendly and I never felt rushed. They just gained a new client. Thank you for the wonderful service!

Lark is absolutely one Talented lady! I have spent years and years looking for someone that could get my hair very blonde! My hair pulls red, nobody could seem to get it right. Lark got me to the light blonde I wanted. She was very careful to make sure she didn’t damage my hair in the process! I have never been unhappy with my hair since I have been going to Lark! I’m so glad I took the chance and gave her a try. I really enjoy talking to Lark. She is just down to earth and an all around good person! Her Mother Barbara is very sweet! All the ladies make you feel like family ❤️

A miracle worker. I paid for a cut 3 weeks ago in Florida that was not what I asked for and so uneven, it looked ridiculous. My niece tried to fix it and made it worse. With little left to work with Mark’s amazing expertise saved me from a whole summer of wearing hats.. Thanks Mark finally someone who really knows how to cut!!!

We recently purchased a home in Ellijay, Georgia and were recommended to Dependable Plumbing, and we are very glad we called them. We needed a new hot water heater installed as well as repair work on one of the faucets in our master bathroom that had poor water flow.
The hot water heater replacement was completed without issue, and when it was discovered that a part needed to be ordered for the faucet repair, we were told they would follow up once it arrived. True to their word, they handled everything exactly as promised. We did not have to chase anyone down or repeatedly follow up—they reached out to us directly and kept us informed throughout the process.
In today’s world, that level of customer service is truly a breath of fresh air. Everyone we dealt with was respectful, professional, and genuinely willing to help in any way they could. As newcomers to both the state and the area, we especially appreciated how kind and welcoming they were, even offering guidance and recommendations beyond just plumbing-related matters.

Barely had to wait at all for my routine hygiene appointment. That went quickly with important recommendations from my hygienist. Dr Lykins came in and confirmed everything and I was on my way. Appears a positive experience.
Best dental practice in town IMO. Great work, reasonable prices, pleasant and helpful staff, modern facilities and methods, good with insurance, great appointment reminders, what's not to like? Nothing.
My three year old complained of tooth pain so I called around to all the dental offices I knew and no one would see a child that young, even for an emergency, let alone take our insurance until I found Sugars End. They got us in right away and not only was the office beautiful but the staff were amazing with him, competent and so accommodating. Thankfully there were no cavities and they were so awesome, I immediately booked appointments for both me and my husband plus our son’s four year cleaning and check-in. Definitely recommend to all those within driving distance of Ellijay.
I was to the point of tears with the pain in my neck, shoulders and back. After the first visit my pain improved by 80%. I was only able to visit 1 more time before moving. I am so grateful for how quickly I was given an appointment and for the attention and care I was given. Thank you so very much
Dr. Darling is excellent. I am a 72 year old new patient with neck pain. Her history and exam follow by treatment plan are outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. darling if you have any type of neck or back pain. You will feel much better.
My little dog was suffering from what I thought was an eye infection, it was not. It turns out that it was two ulcers in her left eye. Ellijay Animal Hospital took her in and evaluated her in less than half hour after arriving. The facility was not equipped to handle these type of injuries. So, they found a hospital with an ophthalmologist, got an appointment on the same day. Unfortunately, for my pet she lost the eye but it could been worse. That type of condition can affect both eyes causing total blindness. With quick reaction of Ellijay Animal Hospital the surgeon was able to save the right eye. We are forever grateful to the staff and vet for their quick reaction. Thank you all.
Doc Redman impressed me with the confidence he has in his knowledge. Takes a lot of experience, to make a diagnosis with the degree of confidence he displays. He made his diagnosis with complete confidence...and I saw an improvement in our dogs condition within hours of leaving his office. Another thing I liked about this practice, it didn't cost an arm and a leg for the visit, which tells you the first priority of Doc Redman,...is the patient!
Loved Sandy’s expertise on grooming. My dog loved being with her. He looked like a million dollars after she groomed him. She knows this business and is the best. I will never take my baby to anyone else for his grooming!
