I wasted $60 (with insurance) and 2hrs of my time for a contact exam just to be told that “maybe contacts don’t work for me”.

The assistants were amazing and great at their job, but after trying 4 different contacts that were all blurry Dr. Azwell gave up and told me I could “maybe try again on another day”.

I still had to pay for the contact exam with a useless prescription that won’t work anywhere else. After digging into my eyes 4 separate times the contacts still didn’t work and were blurry. I want to stress that the assistant was amazing and professional, but Dr. Azwell “just tried”.“

“I have never used Walmart Eye center before and after today.. I will continue to come back. Amanda in the eye center is one of the MOST kind and caring workers I have ever encountered anywhere. Amanda not only went over and beyond in helping me but I witnessed her help an elderly man who walked in with glasses bent and dirty. She showed such compassion and when he asked how much he owed her and she let him know nothing… the man responded with “I have never had this happen in my life”. Whoever at Walmart is over Amanda needs to know the type of employee they have working for them and due to her alone.. you have gained a loyal new customer!“

Woke up with almost no vision in one eye and called the Eye Clinic who got me in same day. They addressed my concerns, numbed my eyes for relief, prescribed multiple treatments, scheduled me for a follow up and assured me it would clear up soon. They did this all with patience, kindness and empathy. Truly a 5/5 experience. Thank you so much.“
