“I am new to Florida and my husband is in long term care. He often drops his glasses and has popped out the lenses several times. I did not know where to go and my son suggested VHI. Each time I took in the glasses they put the lens back in place, straightened and cleaned them at no charge. This last time the one earpiece was broken off and upon looking at them, they determined they could not be repaired. Daniel did not give up, but instead searched for frames that might work for the current lenses. He found some that were very close. Out the goodness and kindness of his heart Daniel put the lenses into the frames he found and again charged me nothing. When I took the glasses back to my husband he was so very happy exclaiming - I can see again! He also sends a big grateful thank you to Daniel! I also want to say the receptionists were also so kind when greeting me and seeing my problem. “This place is great if you don’t have insurance. Self pay’s cheaper than other places in Orlando. The staff was so friendly and took the time to help me understand what I wanted vs needed. They helped me by trying out different colors lenses for clip-ons. Clip-ons are otally worth the cost, because transitions do not work that well in the car, while driving.
