I have never used Walmart Eye center before and after today.. I will continue to come back. Amanda in the eye center is one of the MOST kind and caring workers I have ever encountered anywhere. Amanda not only went over and beyond in helping me but I witnessed her help an elderly man who walked in with glasses bent and dirty. She showed such compassion and when he asked how much he owed her and she let him know nothing… the man responded with “I have never had this happen in my life”. Whoever at Walmart is over Amanda needs to know the type of employee they have working for them and due to her alone.. you have gained a loyal new customer!
Took our 6 year old daughter in for an eye exam and I’m so grateful for how kind and patient everyone was, especially Dr. Salas, Tarah and Amanda. Our daughter has sensory sensitivities, they took their time with her and explained everything gently and really worked with what she needed. Because of their patience we were able to get a proper exam and found out she needs glasses. They also had a great selection of affordable kids’ frames, and the overall cost of the appointment (even without insurance) was shockingly reasonable. I highly, highly recommend them!!
I have had the best experience that I have ever had with the Merritt Island vision team! I am naming all of you! Starting with Abdul who helped me throughout the preliminary testing. Picking my 2 pair of new eye glasses. Abdul was professional, personable and a real joy. Amanda was next, she too very personable, welcoming and her expertise double checking Abduls work. Chelsea was also involved in triple checking! Then Dr Delgado examined my eyes and was very professional yet personable. Gave me such comfort knowing I am being taken care of! Lastly when I received 2 text messages letting me know my order was ready on October 22, 2025. I placed my order October 15th....read full review
