“Wow! We just had an awesome experience with Tristan your electrical technician. We own a vacation rental property in Interlachen FL that is currently an Airbnb. It's a 100 year old cabin with modern upgrades. This past week, we had an issue with part of the cabin having electricity and other parts not. Some outlets worked and others didn't, some lights worked and others did not. Very unusual, since we were there a week ago and all the electrical was fine.
I explained to Tristan, telling him that the housekeepers were there this past Wednesday, doing a deep cleaning because a guests had checked out the weekend before after a lengthy stay of 2 months. I told Tristan that the internet had gone out and we lost the WiFi service while the housekeepers were present. With that information, Tristan had some ideas. He explained of a possibility that the housekeepers may have used a vacuum or another heavy-duty cleaning device that caused the breaker box to trip or they may have simply flipped the breaker switches off by mistake while cleaning the breaker box itself.
In this particular breaker box, both rows of breaker switches face inward towards each other to indicate all switches are in the on position. After doing a thorough check of the house outlets and then the breaker box. Tristan found that the both rows of the switches in the breaker box were facing in the same direction and not towards each other.
To make a long story short, it appears that the breaker box may have been tripped during the cleaning process, then the housekeepers attempted to remedy the problem on their own but failed to flip the switches in the actual on position for some parts of the house.
I would like to to thank Tristan for a job well done and we are certain that we will be calling Snyder for all our future electrical needs.”
