I rent my condo apartment, so I called Sears at the owner's recommendation. I was pleasantly surprised. They were able to get someone out the following day to see if they could even fix the water heater. Up front, the pleasant woman on the phone warned me they would have to confirm the brand and see if they could even work on it, after the repairman arrived. She could find no definite reference to the brand in her computer and I could not confirm a model name or year of manufacture. The next day, he arrived early, confirmed the problem, and had it fixed within 30 minutes. The condo owner feared he'd have to have a new water heater installed. Luckily, the repairman was honest and efficient.
