Melanie is a delight. She's so friendly and puts one to ease right away. I thought I'd be nervous having to pose because I hadn't done that in a long time, but she walked me right through it so easily. It was playful and relaxing. I simply have the best pictures I've had in years (decades really). And at my age now, that's especially amazing to me. I love them and will use them for many years. OH! and she did terrific makeup on me which I wish I could do myself! If I ever need shots again Melanie is my gal. 10 stars!
I hired JC Construction in September 2025 to replace my roof, and I can honestly say they exceeded my expectations from start to finish. Edgar was my main point of contact throughout the project, and he treated my property with a level of care and professionalism that is hard to find today.
The crew showed up on time every day, worked consistently, kept the job site extremely clean, and were surprisingly quiet and respectful during the entire process. My neighbors even commented on how organized and professional the crew was.
What stood out most to me was their honesty and integrity. During the roof replacement, additional issues with trim and other areas were uncovered, and at no point did Edgar try to overcharge or take advantage of the situation. Instead, he walked me through everything clearly, made fair recommendations, and focused on making sure the job was done the right way — not the fastest or most expensive way.

The doctors and medical assistants are very compassionate and professional. The office staff not so much. For my first appointment, I was not given any paperwork or instructions prior to my appointment. I was not prepped for a 2 hour appointment. Major failure in communication. Upon arriving, I checked in with a receptionist that was half wearing a mask and proceeded to sniffle and wipe her nose with her hand and then handle my documents! Absolutely gross! Either wear the mask or take it off. Half measures are useless.
I just had the best experience with Cindy from the business office. She went above and beyond to help get my MRI located and transferred to my orthopedic surgeon. She spent over 40 minutes on the phone to get this done because "others" at a branch office were not getting the job done or answering their phones for over two hours. Now, because of Cindy's persistence I will be able to keep my appointment knowing my films and report will be available for the doctor. If it wasn't for Cindy that would not have happened and my office visit to the doctor would have been for naught. Kudos to Cindy in the business office at Naugatuck Valley Radiology Southbury branch. 5 Stars well deserved.

Stylist: Ashley is amazing!! She’s basically a magician, I came in with a botched DIY hair bleaching fail that she’s managed to fix it, helped make my hair feel so much healthier and natural looking! Really glad I’ve been loyal, she makes it so easy to come back for more!!
This place is special! I had just moved back to my hometown of Southbury after 16 years and was in desperate need of a hairstylist. Yet, not just any hairstylist. I was in the end stages of telogen effluvium at the time, which is a scalp condition where your hair falls out. Mine was due to extreme emotional and physiological stress. Colleen answered the phone when I called and from that moment on pampered me. I had lost a good 2/3 of what was a nice thick head of hair. Thankfully, I still had some left to work with. I decided to cut it all of and Colleen shaped it into a gorgeous tousled lob and created a beautiful copper color. I was given the 5 star treatment the whole time while having great conversation. I will be back and I will be referring those I know. Thanks Colleen!
Tina is an incredibly talented and knowledgeable hairstylist who is always attentive, kind, and a pleasure to work with. I truly enjoy my appointments with her and always leave with my hair looking and feeling absolutely gorgeous. She listens carefully to my preferences and goes above and beyond to deliver perfection every time. Some people just have a natural touch with their craft, and she is one of them. My only hesitation in sharing this recommendation is that she’s so amazing, I’m worried she’ll get too busy, and I won’t be able to get an appointment!
Samantha is a talented stylist. I've always found it difficult finding a good one, but I lucked out with her. She listens intently to what you want, explains what she's doing if you're interested, and is a pleasure to be around. I have curly hair which is difficult to cut, and I'm transitioning from colored to grey, and she is doing a great job with both. I'm so pleased so have found her.

Great experience with this company. Called them last minute day before July 4th holiday and they had a technician out to our home in a couple hours. The HVAC professional was quick and charged a reasonable rate. Highly recommend and will use again!

My daughter did great as well. staff was very kind, and comforting. they were informative. I even emailed them to see how her appt went and someone actually called and explained everything. so happy we made the switch! highly recommend! 5 stars!

Recently switched to Southbury Vet. Very happy with the way Dr Ross cared for both our elderly dogs. His pricing is fair, he returns phone calls, and he listens. His office is clean and his office staff and vet techs are pleasant and helpful. We look forward to his continuing care of our fur babies.

Every masseuse we have had has been exceptional - asking what our pain points are and explaining why certain areas are tight. My husband even fell asleep he was so relaxed!!!
