“JB’s Barbershop's Southbury location has a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere that makes getting a haircut feel more like hanging out than running an errand. The barbers are friendly, the shop is welcoming, and you never feel like they’re rushing to get you out of the chair.

Jamie McIntosh has been my barber for going on almost 2 years now, and it’s always a pleasure going to see him. He’s genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and takes his time to make sure everything looks right. His prices are reasonable and well worth it for a quality, unrushed haircut, whether you’re getting a regular cut or adding a beard trim and shape-up. I drive about 30 minutes each way to see him, and I don’t plan on switching anytime soon. Highly recommend Jamie and JB’s Barbershop. Was beyond relieved to put GreatClips, SuperCuts and all those other cheap and speedy alternatives behind me and would gladly spend the extra $10-$15 again and again. Try JB's and specifically Jamie just once, and I promise you, you'll be back.

While I personally haven't had my hair cut by anyone but Jamie, all the other barbers are great guys to talk to and treat you more like a good friend or old pal as opposed to just another customer. And from what I've seen watching in my chair, they all provide the same great services and quality cuts that Jamie gives.

I haven't bothered looking since I met him, but in all my years before, I found that no one could beat the quality haircut, beard trim and shape up that Jamie delivers for $45. Keep up the great work JB's and Jamie!“
