We visited them this morning for my Roobi dog's annual check up and everything was calm and smooth as it always is. I love how they treat my pittie mix in every way. She is very anxious and is wildly more comfortable here than our previous vet experience, I almost don't even recognize her compared. I still hear her grumbling and mumbling when they take her to the back for tests, but she SCREAMS at other vets. Bone chilling stuff, but not at Spring Glen. They just have a way with space as much as touch. Our last vet was full of echos and metal, there was never enough traznadone, but this one is wooden and still and kind and slower, I wonder if she actually needs trazn (probably tbh so I just give it as usual). For example, while in a med exam room, I cannot hear the other rooms.. Im sure the animals can, but not in an overwhelming way that echos and shakes them.

Additionally, Ive recently found a stray kitty on my day to day that loves being living with Roobi and I. Kayla kindly talked me through what it looks like if a cat is in a heat, how to know if she is in trouble, tried to help me guess her age, and was very transparent about the price of keeping her in my household under their care!! She put my mind at ease to all of the random feedback I had been receiving. I have had Hobbit for about 6 months, without any response to lost pet ads, and was feeling worried about what to prioritize.

Getting this information about my found kitten Hobbit following a great check up with Roobi... after (shout out) DR MAGS AND HIS TEAM ❤️❤️❤️ pristinely removed my dog's MCT tumor slightly over a year ago (a tear currently is rolling down my right cheek)!!!!! ..was truly a wonderful morning!! I was even a little nervous to go, in the event there were more lumpis dumpis!!! ? None to be seen, and everything checked out. We are still watching as we do, but what a fantastic day at Spring Glen Vet!!

I didn't like the idea at all, nor did he I'm certain. But, the ladies here made me feel at ease.

It wasn't easy for me to walk out the door while he was calling for me, but they did a really great job of assisting me it was normal for me to break down and sigh to the point of ugly crying on my way to the car.
When I called, and texted, and left messages, and called back, they addressed my concerns without making me feel like a hassle, and arranged things so that my schedule didn't miss a beat- I had come down from Plymouth, and that was a concern that they worked closely on with me to avoid problems with.

And now he's doing just perfectly fine a week later he's happy, shiny, and mew.“

“Dr Malek AND staff were excellent in the care of my boy Tony. Unfortunately due to old age and being sick he passed away and they were very compassionate sending me a card with everyone’s name on it. Tony was very difficult when going to the vet. Dr Malek was literally the only vet who would work with Tony. All others refused us without even trying hard enough. Tony got his care from Dr Malek and staff everytime without them complaining or calling animal control on us like another place. “Dr. Alter and his staff are top tier and wonderful. Great expertise, decent fees and a genuine love for animals keep me coming back year after year. They sincerely adore and care about my cats; it's steadily apparent. Dr. Alter also saved - and preserved - the life of one of my cats whom he diagnosed with cardiomyopathy. After the necessary tests and realizing that surgery was impossible, he prescribed potent medication and baby aspirin, which kept her viable and comfortable for three and a half more years than she would've had previously without a proper diagnosis. “My pups have been patients at this practice for over 12 years. I do agree with some comments regarding pricing, however, they have always worked well with me to get appointments and in an emergency have been truly responsive. Dr Kumar has put down 3 of my pups when they no longer had a good quality of life and the experience was nothing but wonderful. Calm, caring, spent time with us and then let us sit with Kayla, Pookie and Yodi as long as we wished. I find the level of expertise on the surgical side is also incredible. A new vet was recently hired who I find to be very Simpatico. For those who don't know Spanish, it does not mean sympathetic. It is a term that has no direct translation into English but basically a nice, warm and caring attitude. My Amstaph is on an NSAID that can cause liver issues do I have to do frequent bloodwork which is great because her levels increased and we had to reduce the dosage so as not to cause severe liver damage. I find the front desk staff lovely. The office manager has been at the practice for two decades and has always been very kind and professional in my dealings.“

“We've been going to Ridgehill Animal Hospital since 1997, so we feel we truly know this place well, and we're happy with the care given. We especially love Stacy at the front desk, she's kind beyond kind, and we love Dr. Moruzzi, she is a treasure, she's unbelievably knowledgeable, skilled, patient and kind. We adore her, she's taken care of our pets for almost ten years now. We just got a new puppy and she has given us excellent care as always. She made her spay surgery with hernia repair an easy experience and recovery for our puppy. She also took care of our love, our Coco, who was the best girl, she was a rescue, she was up in age, and Dr. DiLeone cured her Mast cell tumor, and later Dr. Moruzzi kept her well for years with Cushing disease, she also repaired Coco's knee with a TPLO surgery that was a complete success!! Sadly, yesterday at 15+, we had to say goodbye to our Coco, she developed a heart murmur that caused a stroke, it was time, a decision that broke us to make, we had to rely on a vet we didn't know, over the holiday week, but we have to give a huge thank you to Dr. Everett!!! She is incredible, she told us what we needed to know to make the right decision, she stayed with us through the whole process, she gave us time to grieve, to say goodbye as a family, and she did it with great knowledge, compassion and love. We will always be grateful for her, she was like an angel of mercy who walked into the room and held our hands through it all, making sure that our baby was given a graceful and painless experience as she went to the other side. She was held by her whole family, and had love and respect around her the entire time. We should all be so lucky to have a final send off like that!! Thank you to these angels for keeping our girl healthy and happy through the years, and thank you for helping her in the end too, the team at Ridgehill were part of protecting a beautiful life and we are grateful.“
