Reviews
Authentic Uechi Karate dojo with top-tier teaching staff and highly capable senior students. Many bring decades of experience teaching professionally in schools and universities. Sensei John has a great sense of humor and is truly committed to supporting his students as they strive to become better human beings.
The Hartford dojo is an official branch of the Okinawan Kenyukai association, but also maintains strong connections with sister associations teaching Uechi-Ryu Karate in the Northeast.
Senior students travel to international Koshukai events every year to reconnect with the Okinawan parent organization and build relationships with students from across the world.
