I had the pleasure of meeting and training with Professor Tuzinho at a Capoeira event in Ohio. Although it was only a brief session on floreios (acrobatic movements), you can tell his instruction and attention to detail comes from years and years of experience under the tutelage of Grupo Capoeira Brasil's Mestre Boneco. You can tell how passionate he is about teaching beginner and veteran capoeiristas by how much energy he brings to the gym. I feel like I benefitted greatly even from such a brief encounter. I am looking forward to the future when I will be visiting and taking a class with Professor Tuzinho!

Tuzinho was my instructor for almost 10 years in NY. If you truly want the best of what Capoeira has to offer this is the instructor for you. Not only is he physically talented but he's an amazing and sincere instructor who is truly passionate about the art. With him you will learn all of the aspects d Capoeira including music, history and culture. You're going to get so much more than just the physical training that so many places just offer. Lastly, Tuzinho and Holly are both dedicated to truly teaching capoeira and have a strong sense of community and family. They are here for the art and not for the commercialism of capoeira.
