“Andrew Owens of Owens & Son’s Inc. fixed our septic drain field and saved us a boatload of money. Our septic drain field stopped working properly and caused a surface seep of septic discharge. The blockage in the drain field was so bad it raised the septic tank level a foot or two above where is should be. Our septic system is 35 years old. The first person we called to analyze the problem said our drain field was saturated and beyond repair. A new drain field costing $30,000 or more would be required. Seeking a second opinion, we called in Andrew Owens. Andrew was confident that the existing drain field could be rehabilitated. We proceeded first with installation of a septic tank aerator. Then Andrew located and installed a riser over the top of the drain field distribution box. Next, inspection ports were installed at the ends of the three drain field perforated pipes. Andrew then hydro-jetted the three drain field pipes and all began working as it should. Turns out over half of our drain field pipe was dry and unused due to plugging near the distribution box. Once unplugged, the system began working like new for a fraction of the cost of a new drain field. Andrew’s work was thorough, thoughtful and a good value for the money. I’m grateful that our paths crossed. I highly recommend Owens & Son’s Inc.“
