To update this review from our most recent service I have to say how disappointing it was to get a “flat rate” bill of $650 to flush a hot water heater. It wasn’t that way when we last had it done so I didn’t think to ask when I scheduled it along with the replacement of an hose bib. For that amount in maintenance we could replace the heater every 2 or 3 years.”
“These guys are HEROS. We had the team of David Barton and the amazing Dillon. They drove all the way to Crested Butte to help us put in a new sewer line because our old one was under our garage and also 58 years old so it had to be done. They worked with the water and sanitation dept., the town's strict requirements and we decided to close off the old and run a brand new pipe. They never gave up on a very difficult job that had to be hand dug for a few days - one that was 100 feet long and 9-12 feet deep!! Despite all that they got it all done and up to code in 10 days - 10 days- this is un heard of and a miracle up in these small mtn towns. They did all with photos and documentation and locates for our town as well. We have never had the fortune to have such integrity and hard work inside one of our construction projects-and this group who also does Telluride and Aspen blew us and the town managers away. Sending out so much respect for Roto Rooter Montrose and David and Dillon. This was not an inexpensive endeavor for us and also rather stressfull to have such a deep hole dug to reach the main--wow our main lines here in CB very, very deep-- but these two never lost their cool or class and explained all as the town made them change the plan a lot as the project went on. They were so flexible and able to pivot, and were with us all the way. Yes, contracting from Montrose you get a bit of a shorter 'work day' because they had to drive up and back each day, but each day the quality of the work and the level and the speed of the work they did was so high-level that this did not matter and it was TOTALLY WORTH IT to have them come up and back each day. Their qualifications spanned over 20 years of expertise and the patience and knowledge of what they were doing was beyond top notch. And it all was, again, so worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this group and this company. They completely restored our crawlspace which was a project in itself, and filled in the hole and moved rocks for us too, and they cleaned up as much as they could at the end as well. If you get them you are just lucky, lucky, lucky. We can't thank them and Rotor Rooter Montrose enough for all that they did for us in such a short time and in such a professional manner. Forever in their debt.”
