“Left Hand is an incredible institution. We were referred to LHAH after our Aussie, Appa, could no longer tolerate a vet visit after a few rough emergency room visits. The staff has been incredibly patient and dedicated to our dog. When we first visited, he was terrified of the vet, wouldn't let anyone touch him, couldn't calm down and relax, and wouldn't even get on the scale.The staff were incredibly patient and compassionate and worked with Appa, and myself, through consistent happy visits. Devra has been absolutely incredible in her creative solutions, and her perseverance through Appa's ups and downs, always believing in him. I'm happy to say that now Appa has way less fear at the vet, tolerates exams much better, is a total pro at jumping on the scale.In December we had to go through a sedation to get him all caught up with his vaccines, but he was able to tolerate a follow-up shot four weeks later on a chill protocol like a total champion. This is worlds better than where he was just 6 months prior, and we are so thankful for all the dedication Devra, Ashley, and so many others!!“

“I have been taking my dogs here since we moved to Thornton two years ago. I always thought they were good but did not realize how good they were until my puppy had an accident and needed emergency surgery. Dr Abbott went above and beyond to get her setup with a specialist and get her surgery scheduled for the very next day. She then checked in with me twice after her surgery to make sure everything went well and to check in on her medication. She clearly cares about her patients and it was so nice to have her support during this time.“
