I am so happy to have found black swan and my favorite instructor; Laura Jean! If you're searching for a yoga teacher who seamlessly blends expertise with compassion, look no further. Her classes are a sanctuary of peace and fun, where every posture feels like a journey inward and she plays the BEST music! Her guidance extends beyond the mat, leaving you feeling not just physically rejuvenated but spiritually uplifted. Grateful to have found such a gem in the world of yoga!
Great studio and instructors all around, but would def recommend taking Laura Jean’s class! One of my favorite yoga instructors of all time and she has a phenomenal playlist as well.
I am prone to more spiritual yoga but took my first HIIT Yoga class called Power Flow and it was honestly so much fun!!!The studio was pretty diverse and we all laughed and just had a ball. Christopher was teaching. As a black bodied woman I rarely ever see other black women practicing besides at Urban Sanctuary so was pleasantly surprised.I have honestly never had a yoga workout that wasn’t just vinyasa so I really enjoyed the creativity and enthusiasm.Am already booked to go back again and the sliding scale is great for when you have more and can support others and the times when you need a little support in caring for yourself.Really great experience.
