I've had around 6 years of home health agencies and by far the nurses here are more knowledgeable, more skilled, and are much more gentle than I've ever had! “We've been using this service for a couple of years and I can't believe it has taken me this long to leave a review! We've had a couple of PT people we didn't click with and we simply requested new ones. They were very thoughtful of my mom's preferences and the fact we have dogs at home that are part of our daily lives so they are also involved in my mom's sessions, which they love! My mom has parkinson's so this has become a more permanent part of our lives and I couldn't be happier with the company that we chose to take this journey with. Rod Rodriguez is wonderful to work with and very compassionate. I highly recommend giving this place a chance if you need PT at your home. If you don't like something, communication with them is key. They can't fix what they don't know.“

“We found A Caring Hand & Heart from an ad in the HEB newsletter when we decided my Mother needed more care than my Father, sister, and I could reasonably provide (in addition to hospice). They were in a word -Fabulous! We had an initial “intake” meeting for the owner and us to meet and talk about expectations and options. We started out small with just a couple hours a couple days a week for us to have time to get out of the house. We were assigned Destiny and she turned out to be such a gift to my Mother and family! She fell in love with my sweet Mama and as she deteriorated, Destiny took on more and more responsibility for her care, eventually being there nearly 4 hours every weekday. We felt so comfortable that she knew where things were, what my Mom needed, and what really helped us out. When Mom was sleeping,Destiny would do laundry, clean the kitchen, or straighten up. When my Mom was awake, she colored with her, made and fed her meals, talked about life, listened to music, looked at pictures or whatever. Destiny is strong and was a great help moving my Mother from the bed to the wheelchair to the commode. She would change her bed, and change Moms clothes, brush her hair, and put lotion on her face. I really can’t say enough great things about the organization and Destiny specifically. We had a great experience! Our only minor advice would be to communicate a little better on schedules. But seriously don’t hesitate to reach out and see how they can support your family and loved one!“
