“Our family has been part of An's Taekwondo community for 6 years and we recommend this studio so highly. Master An has created an environment where respect is shown to all students and instructors no matter their age, athleticism, or belt rank. Master An teaches with firm kindness and is incredibly adept at adapting his instruction to match the age and ability of his students. The entire community provides such a welcoming and supportive structure for all who practice taekwondo at this studio. Being a part of An's Taekwondo gave me so much comfort when our son left elementary and started middle school. My worries were assuaged after hearing Master An teach the kids confidence, resilience, reliance on each other, and trust in your mentors. I encourage all new, returning, and continuing students to attend a class at An's Taekwondo and see for yourself.“

“Hidden gem of a school with world class instructors and real legends rolling through on a regular basis. I just can’t say enough about the positive influence this school has made in our lives. The instruction is top notch and we appreciate the support of the amazing Jiu-Jitsu family at Figueroa BJJ.“

“I was in Vista for work for a couple of weeks from Chicago & although I didn’t get to drop in to as many classes as I would’ve liked, it was a great experience. No crazy uniform requirements. No crazy SoCal drop in fees. Just the love of jiu jitsu with super nice & friendly training partners. No egos or attitudes, just high level jiu jitsu. A great experience for someone who had only been training for 6 months prior to my visit. Professors Mark & Martin are good guys who run a good gym. Next time I’m in the Vista office, I’ll be dropping in again. If you’re in the area you should check them out!“

“San Shi is a great Judo school. It teaches the traditional Judo and has many knowledgeable Black Belts. After stopping practicing in Brazil for almost 20 years as a brown belt I went back training at San Shi about 8 years ago and learned and improved so much and had the privilege to get promoted to the black belt. They are a non profit organization with the intention of promoting the art of Judo so the monthly dues are very low. It’s a great sport and a great place.“

“I am so thankful that I found California Karate Academy, my daughter attends classes in the Vista studio, and all the instructors are extremely professional, passionate, helpful and friendly. My daughter looks forward to going to her classes every week and as a parent you really appreciate how they teach the kids about self awareness and respect and responsibility. They do an amazing job with reminding our kids that they don’t just need to show respect and responsibility in the studio with the instructors but also at home with parents and at school, everywhere and with everyone. My daughter Mia, remembers all the little lessons they talk about during class and I have seen a huge improvement at home. They have different times to choose from that works with busy schedules, they really value and notice our children’s potentials and push them to be great. I am thankful that Mia gets to train with strong women instructors that make her feel empowered and she gets to meet girls and boys of all ages that they all admire each others work and form friendships. Thank you CALIFORNIA KARATE ACADEMY!“
