She gave me a wonderful gentle shampoo and followed it with a hairdry. I truly felt a different person. This was despite the salon being totally booked. Thank you Shelly.“

“I had an AMAZING experience at this beautiful, airy, relaxing salon! I was so anxious walking in the door because of what I had done to my poor hair. Stylist/owner Kim Ochoa took me under her wing so that I left feeling and looking 100% better! Before I went to Neve, I had damaged my hair over the past three years with several home bleach attempts, and awful DIY cuts. I felt so ashamed of my hair that I didn't want to go to a salon in Santa Cruz, my hometown, but I finally decided to give Neve a try during our annual family trip to Tahoe. Kim treated me with total compassion, and she took the time to discuss my future hair goals so that I felt empowered to take better care of my hair. I love having long hair, but my ends were so damaged that I wanted to start fresh and Kim cut them off, fixing my jagged layers into a short cut I'm happy with until it grows back to my regular shoulder length! I'm thrilled I found this salon, and I'm beyond grateful the prices are affordable, too! I had such a great appointment that I will wait until I can visit Tahoe again just so I can have Kim do more magic on my hair!“

I had been having trouble finding a stylist who was proficient with short pixies/ mens cuts (and I didn't want to go to a barbershop), so I am really glad I booked with Katy because she nailed it! This is also the only salon in town I know of that will do vivid and fun hair colors, so that's a huge bonus for those of us who like to do something a little wild every now and then.“
