I moved to Truckee from San Francisco and was worried about finding someone who could do a great job on my hair. I adored my old stylist, but traveling back to the city to do my hair was not an option with my intense work schedule. So, I did my research by asking a few longtime locals and scouring reviews, and decided to try Alana at Lumiere. I feel like I hit the hair jackpot! Alana is so incredibly talented and gets my highlights just right, especially on my stubborn-to-highlight hair. She really listened to my needs and made sure they were respected. Michelle and her Love is in the Hair team are the BEST choice for HMU! There are not even enough kind words for me to express how grateful I am to her and her team! From the beginning, Michelle has seemed like one of my best friends! For my engagement photos, I decided last-minute I wanted HMU and she graciously worked me into her day. Michelle was an absolute dream to work with. She’s been doing my hair for several years now and I knew the minute I got engaged I wanted her for the special day! From day one she was incredibly professional and organized. Everything was detailed out in advanced so I never had a worry as our wedding date got closer.
