I adored my old stylist, but traveling back to the city to do my hair was not an option with my intense work schedule. So, I did my research by asking a few longtime locals and scouring reviews, and decided to try Alana at Lumiere. I feel like I hit the hair jackpot! Alana is so incredibly talented and gets my highlights just right, especially on my stubborn-to-highlight hair. She really listened to my needs and made sure they were respected. And, she's a lovely person - easy to talk to and so knowledgeable. It's clear that owning a salon and being a stylist are not just a job for her, it's a calling. It's inspiring to hear Alana say that knew she always wanted to this since she was a kid and it shows in the level of care and detail she puts into her work, and the salon itself which is like a beautiful little oasis.“

I am generally pretty minimalist when it comes to my makeup, and after I shared this with Emma at my trial appointment, she created the perfect simple but glam look that I was hoping for. She also constructed the romantic loose updo of my dreams! On the day of my wedding, she went above and beyond - she spent so much time perfecting the look, and I really enjoyed the experience.
