“I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with Dr. Michael Lum and the new Fractional CO2 laser.

After months of research comparing machines, treatment options, and providers, I can say that Dr. Lum’s office has the best fractional CO2 laser experience in the area. Their machine is the latest technology, featuring a Tetra Pro CO2 laser mode called “Cool Peel Mode” that delivers great results with minimal to no downtime. I have seen other machines without the newer features and they are a no-go. The new cool peak mode is almost unheard of with traditional CO2 treatments!

I’ve done IPL in the past and while it helped somewhat with redness and pigmentation, the results from this fractional CO2 treatment are on another level. My skin tone is noticeably more even, texture is smoother, and the fine lines I was targeting look significantly reduced… without the harsh peeling and long recovery time I expected.

Dr. Lum explained everything clearly. He made sure I was comfortable during the whole process. He 100% stays up to date on the latest technology and techniques.

“I enjoyed getting a Fractional CO2 laser at Dermatown. I got it in February of 2025. It was my first time getting a laser done to my face, so I wasn’t entirely sure how to go about it. Fortunately, the customer service was amazing and I felt comfortable getting the laser. I was given detailed instructions of how to care for my face post treatment and they gave me a kit to take home. The kit had directions on them and skin care tools to care for my face. I was also able to send Dermatown daily photos of my face so they could track my progress and guide me on what to do each day as my face was going through the stages of the treatment. Thank you Dermatown for doing this treatment for me and answering any questions I had about it!“

“I would 100% recommend Federal injury centers to any federal employee that has an injury and cannot seem to get it approved, FIC will get it approved!!! I was going to Torrance FIC driving from Las Vegas once a month because my case could not get accepted in Vegas. After going to FIC in Torrance after two weeks, my case was accepted!! They know what they’re doing not only with the paperwork, but the therapies that you receive are unlike anything that you will receive anywhere else!! My doctor is awesome; he is bilingual so I feel very comfortable to discuss any health questions with him when I'm not sure how to express it in English.“
