“Unbelievable incredible work by Horimaki, worth every single penny. I'd had this tattoo for 17 years, and it was a difficult job due to the size, shape, and additional scarring from stretch marks. Maki was thorough and patient, and her work is brilliant. We collaborated on the design, as I came in unsure of what exactly I wanted, but knew there were indigenous images of serpents that had been calling to me. My desire was essential some kind of a snake, with a feminine bent to it, and she recommended the Japanese snake and peony design. Two sessions, 7.5 hours later, and we had the perfect tattoo. Though it was incredibly painful (even with numbing creme), it was so so worth it. The biggest compliment I get is from the women in my life who are absolutely terrified of snakes — they have all looked at the tattoo in awe because Maki made it so gorgeous.

Cover-ups tend to have both a physical and emotional/spiritual meaning and Maki was able to hold and respect all that meaning while doing an amazing job. And the shop/atmosphere is absolutely beautiful; I enjoyed taking breaks in the bathroom, and using the essential oils to soothe me. Maki is an incredible artist and genuine human being. Her team, including Nico, is made up of supportive, lovely people with the exact kind of energy you want in a space like this. I am so glad I connected with them all for this experience. 10/10!!!

“Every review about this place is absolutely true. I was so excited but nervous to go through with getting a tattoo. Mind you this is my first time getting quite a big statement tattoo. My artist was Sasha. The whole process from going over the final sketch to the first session went by like a breeze. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process, especially impressed how everything is sterile and clean. I've been following Sasha's work for quite some time. Honored to have a piece done by her. “I got an industrial here and it was the best piercing experience! Frank answered all of my questions about the process and whether this piercing was right for me. The piercing itself was quick and easy. When I told him about past healing problems in cartilage piercings, he gave me great advice that’s led to absolutely no problems during healing- no bumps, no irritation, and hardly any swelling.

Everyone was so friendly and the environment was welcoming. Even over the phone they were so kind and helpful. Their selection of jewelry is also fantastic.
