Tyler is one of 4 people I am tattooed by. He has done my arms. Out of all my experiences being tattooed to the point where I am almost out of space, Tyler is the most chill person and the most dedicated to the knowledge and history of tattooing. He has been really important to helping me NOT make placement and sizing mistakes since the first time I was tattooed by him. In fact, the first time I met him, he recommended a change in placement and size to what I was thinking and 10 years later, those are still my favorite tattoos. Best Wishes is essentially the shop that I would design if I was designing a shop myself. It is not overly packed and it is mellow with a super clean aesthetic. There is some historical flash on the walls that are THE GOLD STANDARD and a few other sparse decorations but the core focus is on doing high quality tattoos in a nice clean environment. I highly recommend this shop. I would drive across LA to go here if I lived in another area. Luckily, it is fairly close to me.
I can't recommend Tyler highly enough! I've been getting tattooed by him since 2020 and have had five pieces done, including two that he expertly fixed for me. The level of skill is amazing and artistic vision he has an incredible eye for detail and can transform faded tattoos into stunning masterpieces. Tyler's workspace is always pristine and immaculate, which adds to the overall experience. His professionalism is always appreciated ; he takes the time to listen to your ideas and helps you select the perfect design that resonates with you. What I truly appreciate most is his gentle approach my sessions have been completely painless, which is rare in the tattoo world. Tyler's passion for his craft shines through in every piece he creates. I'm absolutely obsessed with his work and feel lucky to have found such a talented artist. Called in to Best Wishes late afternoon, asking if they'd take two walkins, Tyler was super supportive and helpful (and willing). I showed up with my friend, who was visiting from Germany, and Tyler did an amazing job (not only with his precision, but also in taking his time). His cleanliness is next level, is a very good way. Oh, and the conversations we had were really awesome. Definitely coming back for the next one, and hopefully found a friend and new shop to get any future work. Thanks again! - Chad A. Marshall
