Outstanding experience on price, communications and performance. Quote was significantly lower than other highly rated tree company. They were on time to walk-through appointment and service day. Justin's crew removed a tall mature Jeffrey pine that was leaning into the roof. Work included a large crane set up in the street. I felt like a kid watching a crew member get lifted into the tree's canopy, then strap the upper trunk to the crane, climb down the trunk and sever the trunk about 2/3rd of the way down. Then the crane lifted most of the tree into the air, above and through other trees and branches, setting it down in the road. Very skilled crew and great teamwork. Won't hesitate to call again when tree work is needed.

I had the same dentist from the time I was a kid until I was 30. I did not look forward to finding a new dentist when mine retired. After getting no less than two dozen recomendations for Dr. Morgan I set my first appointment. JACKPOT!! Dr. Morgan is a consummate professional. She is personable, up front with potential costs and can almost always give you more than one option to your tooth issue. Nicole is there to greet you every time you enter their very well organized, staffed, technologically advanced office. Dr. Morgan referred me to an amazing oral surgeon for an implant I needed and consulted with me when I had questions. Above and beyond for sure. Bottom line is not all of us in North Lake can have Dr. Morgan as our dentist, but those of us that do consider ourselves very blessed.
We've worked with Brian Lampman twice now and we appreciate his professionalism, timely response and vast knowledge. His rate is reasonable and hasn't changed that much for the past 10 years! I tend to ask a lot of questions and he'd take time to explain the issues and the fix. We came to rely on Brian on all of our water leak issues. From detecting the leak in the attic space to the leak with the back flow preventer, he has done an amazing job. I highly recommend Brian and his crew!

Jen came to our rental home and did the makeup for myself, and 2 other family members for my small wedding. She did an incredible job! We all looked amazing in our photos! I don’t wear a lot of make up often so I wanted a more natural look which she nailed. She was super easy/fun to talk to as well. We changed our wedding date a few days prior due to a coming snow storm, and Jen was so accommodating in changing her schedule to fit our new wedding date. Scheduling an appointment online was quick and easy to do. I got my hair done by Joanna and I plan on going back. She did exactly what I wanted and the style was easy to work with on my own afterwards. Price wise, it's a little more than what I've seen at other salons in the north Lake Tahoe area, but it's worth it.
I’ve been very happy with the treatments that I’ve received. Elena has healed my back on two different occasions when I was in severe pain. Immediately after both treatments I was able to return to work and snowboard at the level I’m used to. Recently I had her do some acupuncture and electric shock therapy on my wrist. This is an injury that I’ve had for over 20 years as I had pins put into a broken wrist when I was young after a snowboard accident. After I agitated recently it in the gym I saw Elena for some treatment. The electric shock therapy combined with acupuncture really stimulated my hand and felt like it broke up a lot of scar tissue and nerves that were causing me pain. She followed that up with oils and deep tissue sports massage. Overall I’m very happy with Wild Rose Medicine. Highly recommended for those looking to decrease inflammation and relieve bodily pain. Oh and I also had some cupping done on my back on two separate occasions. Both times it really helped relieve pain and soreness in my back.

Our deck was in major need of repair. The support beams were splitting and the concrete foundation was crumbling away. I called Dana and he provided me 2 quotes- 1 to rebuild the entire deck and 1 to just replace the beams and the foundation. We ended up just having him fix the deck instead of replace it. But he did an awesome job!! He kept reminding me all winter to keep the snow shoveled off the deck so it would last the winter until he could come fix it. He was always very responsive and even brought us some duck eggs on his last day on the project. A great guy and company to work with. I highly recommend him and will hire them again when wee actually rebuild our deck and add stairs to it.
Clauss Excavation has been our snow removal company for almost 20 years. He plows when the snow reaches 4”-6” and I never have to worry about whether I’ll have driveway concerns in the winter. He works early in the morning so we can leave for work or snow play. He is easy and friendly to deal with.

We have been using Victoria to take care of our 3 year old Golden Retriever when we travel out of the area. We have been extremely happy with the care that she gives to our dog. Her thoroughness was evident from the start at the initial interview. She is very concerned for providing a safe and stimulating environment for the dogs in her care. She exercises the pets numerous times during the day. She understands dogs and their behavior and is 100% committed to her business. We could not be more impressed and feel very comfortable knowing that our dog is in excellent hands when he is with her.
While on vacation, my dog needed urgent care. I called and they took me in immediately. Dr. Buckton was extraordinary with his compassion, knowledge, and explaining of information. He saved my little dog so we could enjoy vacation. When I got home and called him for a referral to a specialist, he and his staff took care of it immediately. Thank you!!!

I happened upon Lala Jewelry recently at a music festival. I had been looking for a ring and/or necklace for myself for a few years now. I'm picky, and I wanted the right stone and the right piece to frame it. I wanted something bold, beautiful, and unique. I wanted to feel like I'm wearing art.Upon entering the booth I was immediately struck by her pieces- both her choices of stones and the craftsmanship of the overall pieces. I came away with a ring and a necklace, and love them both. I can't stop looking at them, to be honest. They both look and feel great. Very easy and pleasant to deal with. When I made my reservation the lady on the phone was very patient with all of my questions, wasn't in a hurry to kick me off the phone. There are two locations to choose from. Make sure to arrive with enough time to find parking. Our boat got going about 30 minutes early, probably because everyone was there and a storm could be seen coming in the distance. We all got lots of time up in the air. Photo package didn't disappoint.

Great place, my 5mo old cockapoo Dolly went in VERY shaggy for her first cut and came out looking great. There was no matting so we were able to get the longest blade to keep her looking fluffy. Got full service for Dolly's first time, nail, bath, cut, etc, and Tammy was very nice. I was nervous for the first cut but Dolly came out happy as ever, looking fresh and smelling great (not too perfumey like some places). Tammy's setup is great; she only does one dog at a time so that when your dog is done with their cut, they can safely play in a big play area with toys and treats instead of being shut in a kennel or crate. Tammy finished quickly and I can't get over how cute the cut is! I will definitely be scheduling another appointment in the future.

So grateful that Cari arranged to have my wedding dress and veil steamed in Reno two days before my wedding. She charges a small fee to take the dress from Tahoe City to a steamer in Reno and has it back the following day. I couldn't find any other dry cleaners in the North Lake Tahoe area who provide this service without a week turnaround time and crazy fees, so for any brides who are only coming up a few days before the wedding, Cari is your girl! Everything looked perfect. Thanks so much!

I didn't get their names but the owners/workers there did a great job. I was a little desperate to get a manicure so I called the day before (Saturday am appointment). My hands were in bad shape and I had to officiate a wedding and they did a wonderful job! I even accidentally picked a sheer sparkly color so they found some other colors to fix it up and it turned out perfectly. Made me feel so much better ?
