INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE
I visited Dr. Tim at Tahoe City Chiropractic during our annual family trip to Lake Tahoe just before the Fourth of July. On the very first night, I managed to get a brutal kink in my neck thanks to a questionable timeshare pillow. The pain and immobility were so bad my wife insisted I see a chiropractor.
Even though they were out of network and I had to pay cash ($125 for the new patient assessment and $75 for the adjustment), it ended up being some of the best money I’ve ever spent.
Dr. Tim was incredibly kind, thorough, and generous with his time. He didn’t just focus on the immediate neck pain — he took a deep dive into my history of injuries, mobility, and overall fitness goals. His approach felt truly holistic. After some time resting with CBD cream and a heating pad, he came back in and delivered what I can only describe as a “bomber” adjustment. The relief was so immediate and powerful I actually teared up.
I told him, “I feel like I should give you a hug.” With the calm confidence of someone who is one part Kurt Russell and one part martial arts sensei, he said, “Well, that’s okay,” and gave me a good‑natured embrace.
I was able to see him again a few days later to reinforce the work before our 10‑hour drive back to Los Angeles, which made a huge difference.
If I lived in Tahoe, I’d be in his office regularly. If you’re visiting and something goes sideways with your back or neck, I can’t recommend Dr. Tim and his wonderful staff highly enough.
Next year I’ll be back — but since I’m over 40, I’ll also be bringing my own pillow.
Jen is fantastic at her craft!! She was so kind, communicative and professional leading up to the wedding day. At the trial, she was incredibly thorough and talked me through each part of the process. On the wedding day, she took her time, yet was incredibly efficient in getting through our whole wedding party and myself.
Jen is a highly skilled makeup artist, and I cannot recommend her enough for your event makeup.

We had a spa day as part of my friends bachelorette party. Wendy was so helpful in planning the whole thing! She had complimentary champagne, orange juice, cider, and snacks as we rotated through our treatments. She is very sweet and very knowledgable. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely be getting another facial!

Marianne and Evon have created an AMAZING healing space …. Tucked into a quaint location in Tahoe City. I have been seeing Marianne for over a year for my complex PTSD symptoms (both childhood and recent trauma). I have a PhD in psychology. I have studied the trauma treatments as a researcher by training, read the book “Why Woo Woo Works” which discusses the benefits of alternative treatments, including Reiki. I have participated in most of them, including EMDR, CBT, talk therapy, acupuncture, Craniosacral
therapy, shamanism and plant medicine. My work with Marianne has been so much more healing, therapeutic and gentle compared to EMDR. If you would like to heal some trauma, please give Marianne a try. Evon also gives AMAZING Massages which includes some energy work along with the massage.
When you’re done with your treatments, you can walk a short distance to a small beach/nature area in Northlake Tahoe….. I often go there to ground my feet in the sand/water post session!! This healing place and these wonderful ladies are next level.

I’ve been very happy with the treatments that I’ve received. Elena has healed my back on two different occasions when I was in severe pain. Immediately after both treatments I was able to return to work and snowboard at the level I’m used to. Recently I had her do some acupuncture and electric shock therapy on my wrist. This is an injury that I’ve had for over 20 years as I had pins put into a broken wrist when I was young after a snowboard accident. After I agitated recently it in the gym I saw Elena for some treatment. The electric shock therapy combined with acupuncture really stimulated my hand and felt like it broke up a lot of scar tissue and nerves that were causing me pain. She followed that up with oils and deep tissue sports massage. Overall I’m very happy with Wild Rose Medicine. Highly recommended for those looking to decrease inflammation and relieve bodily pain. Oh and I also had some cupping done on my back on two separate occasions. Both times it really helped relieve pain and soreness in my back.

Mike is very knowledgeable and professional. He and his helper, Bodie, installed a tankless water heater for me after my 7 yr old tank water heater failed and dumped water into our master bedroom. He gave us a fair price and provided extra capability to maintain the unit using special valves. Highly recommend!

I have been coming here for years and couldn’t recommend him more! I saw him through both of my pregnancies, postpartum, and my journey back to skiing. Some chiropractors you leave feeling like you were just folded up like a pretzel and sat on, but not with John. He somehow gets all the right places cracked but never seems to force anything. I am a small Woman and I’ve never felt like he uses too much force in cracking my neck or back, even while I was pregnant. But he is a big guy so if you do feel like you need some pressure I’m sure he could handle it! He does a wonderful job and I would recommend him to anyone!

I went there to have my hair done for the military ball. My appt was with Danielle. She asked what I was looking for and asked about what I was comfortable with and what I wanted. I showed her some photos I had saved on my phone, and she went to work. I asked about hair pieces, and she showed me some they had in store and helped me choose a few to use. The end result was fantastic. I am so glad I went with her. I definitely recommended them.

Matt Norris is the Best! He will make every effort to repair what is broken, goes above and beyond most other plumbers, and does it right! We have used him for tons of projects at our Tahoe home - as we bought an older place that had been neglected for years. He has saved us buckets of money by fixing what could be fixed and replacing what needed to be replaced - and he is very fair with his pricing and billable hours. We love him!
The theater experience at their demo space was amazing. Everything was dialed in perfectly. My favorite detail in the design was the little lights in the aisle that automatically came on when the movie was paused. Details matter and they certainly pay attention to them. Brilliant experience.
I’ve been meaning to post this review for a while. Jo is the absolute best, a real gem! I had a handful of fittings leading up to the wedding, bc I kept losing a little weight each time. She made sure I felt good about it the whole way, and my dress fit like a glove. I had her add in thin spaghetti straps for later in the evening, and they came out perfect. She held onto my dress and veil until just a few days before the wedding so I had somewhere safe to keep it. She is amazing at what she does, highly recommend to everyone in the area!
I was treated here in the summer of 2019 after I broke my ankle. There was an incredibly kind, angel-like pregnant nurse and a wonderful medical team. I hope they see this—I’d like to thank them, they helped me so much.
