Care From The Heart In-Home Services, Inc.
“I am posting this to share my review of Care From the Heart In-Home Services; and also to rebutt a negative review oreviously posted by Caylin Campilongo which contained very inaccurate information. I am sorry such a false review was posted.
We have been a client of Care From the Heart (CFTH) for over 5 years. In that time, our family member who receives services has gone through significant decline in overall function due to advancing dementia. We have had several different caregivers from CFTH - we have never had problems or issues with any of them. All have provided kind and appropriate services.
Ms. Campilongo is an extended family member. Approximately 18 months ago, she began providing caregiving services in addition to that provided by CFTH. To my knowledge, she has never been a client of CFTH, she certainly has never contributed financially to our family members care and has not been involved in decision making. CFTH has done nothing to create divide. Ms. Campilongo is no longer involved in the care of our family member due to her unstable behavior and inability to work cooperatively with our family and caregivers from CFTH. She created a hostile work environment and it is her own actions that have led to any disruption of her family relationships.
Additional impressions regarding CFTH follows:
- the caregivers who have worked with our family member have been kind, adequately trained and responsive to our feedback. They have adjusted their schedules and duties at our request without any difficulty. I cannot attest to CFTH hiring requirements - but all the caregivers have the skills needed to work with my family member (there is no medical complexity). A few have needed training on the particular lift system we use -- but this has been an easy process. Personally, I would like to add that I champion companies willing to hire inexperienced people who are eager to work and learn and are adequately prepared (again, don't really know if this is the situation with CFTH). We were all novices in our chosen professions at one time -- let's be grateful for employers willing to work with and provide opportunities for novice employees.
- CFTH has NEVER pushed for full-time care or even asked to increase the hours of care they are providing to our family member - a blatant falsehood by Ms. Campilongo.
- We have not had anything go missing from our home and I have no knowledge of any theft of anything (even paper products) - another falsehood.
- CFTH is timely in their communication with us, letting us know of any needed changes in schedules, caregiving, etc.
We have been very satisfied with the care that our family member has received.”
