Jeremy has a natural gift for teaching. He knows how to communicate especially with young children. Our child has been taking drum lessons with him for over 10 years now. Because of Jeremy, our kid is a fantastic drummer (who can also read drum tabs) and continues to grow as a musician! His rates are fair if not a little below the average rate you will find for the area and he does try to accommodate your schedule. Our family highly recommends Jeremy for learning the drums!

Eva is so sweet. First time getting a Korean Lash Lift and I love it! Very natural and I wasn't sure if it would be noticeable because my short Asian lashes are so short but I see the lift and it's subtle and cute. Eva was very gentle, good at her art and she has a stamp card for repeat clients. I might try the classic lashes next time but I love this natural experience too. Easy free private parking makes it easy.

Expecting a crown the dentist did a repair of my tooth. I had a piece on the side of my tooth break off. I was sure it would require a crown. The dentist was able to repair the tooth. No crown needed. I was ready for a big bill but got a small one. Amazing.

Jamie O’Brien is a miracle worker. I have struggled with acne since I was 12 years old, the deep cystic kind. I had large pores with skin so oily that blotting and reapplying makeup throughout the day to cover my pimples was just part of my everyday life. I tried nearly everything to fix it - Proactiv, Neutrogena, salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide, witch hazel, heck I was even applying vitamin E gel capsules that I had opened directly to my skin. Nothing worked and I accepted my fate as probably having acne well into my 90s. But then in 2019 I went to Jamie on a friend’s recommendation and she has since absolutely TRANSFORMED my skin!!! Acne - gone! Large pores - nonexistent!! Oily skin - I don’t know her!!! I can actually feel confident leaving my house without having to have a full face of makeup, something I would NEVER EVER have done in the past! But Jamie not only treated my acne, she also helps keep my skin looking young with anti-aging oxygen and collagen facials tailored to my middle-aged skin. She is truly an expert in her field, and a consummate professional. I have been going to her once a month for five years now and she is worth every penny. Cannot recommend her highly enough!

I had such a wonderful experience with Nina!! She graciously took my late walk-in, even though she knew it would mean staying open late. (Word to the wise, they close at 5:30 on Sundays, not 7 like some parts of the internet suggest!) Even so, she was incredibly meticulous and took the time to make sure I was happy at every turn. She also called me by my name, asked about me, and was so genuinely kind. It was such a nice experience, and my nails turned out beautifully.

I’ve been going to Lien for maybe two years now. She is really the best in what she does. She knows all hair types, which is super helpful for my difficult hair haha! Not only is she great at hair, she’s so pleasant to talk to! I’m way overdue for a haircut so I’ll be going back in soon :)
Cannot say enough good things about SMDC. My daughter has been dancing here 6+ years, and my son the last three. In addition to taking training classes here, my daughter is also a part of the competition team, which is truly like a family! The front desk and back office staff are welcoming, helpful and encouraging and the teacher are top notch. My daughter’s love for dance, especially ballet, has been birthed, shaped, and developed within these walls. My children have both grown in skill, confidence and experience due to the environment that the owner, Amie, has created here!!
Excellent barber shop! Tons of parking, easy to locate in downtown Sierra Madre. I like that the shop isn't huge inside and I dig the retro vibe. I love that they accept cards for payment which lots of barber shops don't do (though I tip in cash). Best part of the experience was that Andy gave my son a fantastic cut! We'll be back to see him again.
John and his crew did an amazing job in our 135 years old house. On top of making several challenging electrical upgrades they wired our LAN cables without making extra holes on the old floor suggested by the cable guys, much appreciated. I highly recommended this experienced and skilled group of professionals.

These ladies were amazing, I had an emergency situation where I needed to have my Dogs orthopedic lift harness repaired. He had broken both of his front legs and managed to chew through his harness. It was the only way I could lift him and it wasn't something that I could just go out and buy another one as it had to be special ordered. The alterations were backed up for almost 2 weeks, and I told them my situation, they called me the next day, and it was ready! I was so touched that they did this for me, I am so grateful, and will never forget their kindness. Thank you!

I treated myself to a deluxe pedicure, and it was the most relaxing hour of my week. The massage was heavenly, and they used high-quality products that left my skin feeling like silk. If you need a peaceful getaway and a perfect manicure, this is the place to go!
I’ve been coming here since they’ve opened, and even after moving, I still drive back for my pedicures. I haven’t found a place that beats the service and quality of nailtique. I always leave with the best pedicures, and I’ve never had a bad experience with the service after all these years.
