“I've been seeing Dr. Wilcox for about 7 years and have had an excellent experience. His glowing reviews are well earned. I now have new insurance and have to pick another dentist, but the first dentist I went to wanted to charge me a $240 copay for cleaning my teeth! I spoke to Delta Dental about this and they encouraged me to file a formal complaint, which I have. They then gave me a list of other dentists I could see, but so far I have not been able to find one who doesn't have horrible things said about them online. Despite the fact I now need more work besides cleaning, I am considering paying cash to continue seeing Dr. Wilcox.“

“I found Apple Dental Center through my dental insurance's web portal and went with them because they were both local and seemed to have good ratings on Yelp. After going through a deep cleaning, I can confirm that a 5 star rating is indeed justified! One of the things I really liked about Dr. Tzou is his patience and thoroughness in explaining things and answering questions. While the office location is sort of hidden (it's upstairs and tucked away), the waiting room and all interior areas are clean, modern, and well-organized. I appreciated the calming "elevator music" that was playing in the background. It makes cleanings less stressful! As for the actual cleaning itself, those are always going to be a bit painful, but at least a thorough job was done where I hope to have less to worry about when I come back in 6 months.“

“I called in because my bridge broke, Dr. Placido got me in the same day and gave me all the options, within a month I had a new partial denture and he was very patient and courteous making the needed adjustments, I am very happy with it. Dr Placido also did some fillings for my wife and I and we were comfortable through the whole process, his experience and knowledge stand out. We also had our teeth cleaned and the ladies were very good and personable. Katie at the front desk was also awesome, I highly recommend this dentist.“

He is very gentle when in your mouth and you don't even feel the needle when he administers numbing shots. He is super patient and always answers every question. All the staff is super friendly too! “Dr. Benedetto is the BEST dentist I have ever had for myself and my family. I have moved back to Northern California, and I still sometimes travel down to see him and drive back in one day--that is how good he is. He is skilled, honest, and is really focused on your care(which is more reasonably priced than any other dentist I have visited), and keeps up with the latest tech in the industry (kind of a dental nerd; he also teaches this stuff.). He saved two or my adult son's teeth, which another practitioner had recommended just pulling; he took the time to restore both teeth, and we are very grateful for that. Another example: my adult daughter had been advised she had a mouth full of cavities from a dentist in another state--when I got her in to see Dr. Benedetto, he confirmed she had NO cavities at all and great teeth. Still true today.I have been going to Dr. Benedetto for about 8 or 9 years when I lived in Monrovia--mostly, he was repairing prior dental work from others (such as fillings done too deep, too large, to close to the nerve, etc., fixing crowns) I cannot recommend this professional enough. If I could give him more than 5 stars, I would.“
