Paul is an excellent and experienced trainer, kind person, and knows an incredible amount of about dogs. He taught us so much, both during our sessions and after with follow up content. He was great with our fearful and reactive dog, taking the time to build her confidence, and teaching me what to do, how and when to do it. She also stayed with him for a week or so while we were away and did very well. We plan to continue working with Paul and trust him completely!

As a person entering my 70th year I have had many homes and undergone numerous renovations. All were tolerable but full of the typical frustrations most have encountered. Until I met Eden Roc/Dan Nowell and his crew. I cannot imagine renovations being done more hassle free, and with such attention to detail. Dan has built a guest house and, later, a wine cellar for me. The first was a very substantial project. He helped find the right architect and always had sound advice for dealing with the various permitting issues. Invariably, he had excellent suggestions to make to the architect and later the decorator. They mentioned numerous times what a delight he was to deal with for them. In the same timeframe, I was heavily involved in renovation that my daughter was doing in Marin. The work was fine. It was not, however, the same flawless project experience from start to finish that I have had with Eden Roc.The construction process was perfect, even down to the (trivial?) detail of how clean the premises were left each day (we lived there during construction). Recently I moved to Yountville and had a very substantial landscaping project done. This was not a project appropriate for Eden Roc but Dan took the time to look at the landscape architect’s plans and made several absolutely key suggestions that everyone else had missed. His communication skills, his ability to work with others are simply unmatched. I cannot recommend Dan and his crew highly enough.

Marco's Art of Hair salon is a hair salon I have been going to for many years. I have my hair colored and cut there and wouldn't go anywhere else. The salon is clean and nicely decorated. Marco is a perfectionist who listens to what you would like to have done as well as make helpful suggestions.
My gel mani/pedi looks the best and lasts the longest of anywhere I’ve ever been. Great place. Nina, Suzie and Van have all done a wonderful job on my nails.
Love Lillian and her team so much. The salon is quiet, peaceful, welcoming and you can’t beat the view. I used to live nearby and walk over and now live in the city and drive over to this little oasis. Their work is impeccable and the selection of nail polishes and color is terrific.

I have recommended Dulce to everyone and just realized I’ve never given her a proper review! Dulce has been cutting my hair for 2 years and each time I leave it’s my favorite haircut I’ve ever had. I appreciate her attention to detail, the process never feels rushed. I love that she uses cruelty free products. Dulce is so kind, thoughtful and an excellent hairstylist. Arielle is so good! She's not only super friendly (and funny) and easy to communicate with and cares about your wellbeing as her client - but it was the best sugaring experience I've had. Most of the times I've done it with other people it was so painful having it done, and I'd have at least a day of bumps and irritation. With Arielle, hardly any pain (seriously, I was kind of astonished) and zero irritation afterwards. I'd highly recommend her
I've been lucky enough to visit Cavallo Point Spa three times in the last 18 months. The massage is always amazing (shout out to Helena!) but I have to say the amenities don't add up to what I would expect given the price point. The meditation pool outside is lovely, but the sauna and jacuzzi are small and always crowded. I also find the women's locker room to be a crowded layout.

Taly is the only one in the bay area that I'll have groom my dog. Until I found her, I got my little poodle groomed when I traveled elsewhere.
My dog is petrified of loud sounds such as blow dryers, but she has no fear when Taly drys her. She is comforted when Taly holds her.
It's easy to get appointments when you need them. The "haircut" is perfect! The dog is soooo cuddly. It's true that grooming can be calm, stress free, and a positive experience with Taly Groomers.
I love Paw Palace, my dog Ginger always comes home so BEAUTIFUL! And they take really good care of my senior neighbors dog Romeo whenever I bring him in for her. You have to try out their 'coloring' services. We have had so much fun w our posh pink footed poodle ?
