Well, I'm just a little too fat for it, but still want to wear it to a wedding next year that happens to be in Mexico. So I took the skirt to All Star Cleaners explained my goal. The lady told me to drive to Joann's Fabric, find a fabric that matched the waistband. I did just that. Went back another day also bringing a PJ bottom that was loosing the elastic. She measured me for both items, and they were ready for pickup in a week! Fantastic prices, I can't remember how much? They accept credit, cash and I think another form, like Venmo? Thumbs up, five stars, great place to go for alterations.“

Always wears down those expensive soles, like these Doc Martens, too fast! And, feel lopsided steppin, so gonna try the steel plate, see how long they hold. I got quotes off yelp ranging $45-60, which I was willing to pay but fortunately took one last chance at J’s tailoring. I walked in with my coat and when they quoted me $40, I was elated. They had it ready in one week and I’m super happy with the alteration and service.“

She told me that they would dry clean it first, and if that didn't work - they would wash it. Much to my surprise- 4 days later - I had a perfectly white linen blazer - that looked better than when I bought it. Sooo impressed and will definitely go back.“

“I came to Marine and Khach after seeing they had done other fast-turnaround miracles for brides and hoping that they could also do one for me too. I had bought a wedding dress at a reasonable time but decided it wasn’t the right one, so by the time I found MY dress, it was already way into crunch time. My wedding was 12.29.23, and it did not arrive until after Thanksgiving while I was already out of town for two weeks. I got back on December 8th and knew it was a bit of a long shot to find someone to deal with shortening all this beautiful detailed lace and working this dramatic of a train into a reasonable bustle. I reached out to two other places as a safety and didn’t even get a response from them. Mari emailed me back immediately and told me to come in, and they worked their magic so quickly I was in for just two fittings before the final fitting/pickup, which they somehow managed to do a whole week before the big day!You can see for yourself the dress turned out BEAUTIFULLY, and the seven point pleated bustle was gorgeous for twirling around the dance floor on my first dance. I threw in a picture of how it was before alterations (way too long!) I really can’t thank Luxury Alterations enough for being the heroes of this wedding and saving the day.It is also worth mentioning that they are SO nice and easy to work with! Khach even did a quick tailor on my brother’s groomsman tux (his sleeves were just a bit too long) in just two days. And their prices are more than reasonable for the quality and fast turnaround. I would absolutely recommend them to any Los Angeles area brides or anyone needing any alterations; they really care about their work and their clients. We are so lucky to have them here in Tarzana now that they have just moved from the Bay Area!! ❤️ Can’t wait to come back in the future!“
