I was heading out on a 10 day Alaskan cruise the very next day and needed my pants hemmed and steamed cleaned for the formal nights on the cruise. The owner really helped me out with getting this done and at a reasonable price too, $20 for everything and done in like 3 hours. She was already backed up with other orders but still squeezed me in. Well, I'm just a little too fat for it, but still want to wear it to a wedding next year that happens to be in Mexico. So I took the skirt to All Star Cleaners explained my goal. The lady told me to drive to Joann's Fabric, find a fabric that matched the waistband. I did just that. Went back another day also bringing a PJ bottom that was loosing the elastic. She measured me for both items, and they were ready for pickup in a week! Fantastic prices, I can't remember how much? They accept credit, cash and I think another form, like Venmo? Thumbs up, five stars, great place to go for alterations.“
“Buying jeans that fit just right has always been tricky for me - either too long in the leg area or too wide in the waist area; despite following a brand's size chart. I brought 3 pairs of jeans from Citizens of Humanity and Agolde to Wah's Fashion for hemming and adjusting the waist. Wah's is the only alteration studio I've been to that can hem my jeans while keeping the "distressed"/original hem. They're the only studio I've been to that can adjust the waist and match the thread color to the jean's original thread (see photo). Depending on how quickly you need your alterations done, I've had no issue with Wah's getting my fixes done by the date I need.Highly recommend Wah's Fashion for all your alteration/tailoring needs -- my jeans look like they were made just for me and I'm so happy with how they turned out. PS - Wah's has worked with Steph and Ayesha Curry several times for their tailoring too :)“
