“Our cat took a sudden turn for the worse, and we knew that same day we had to say goodbye. My heart was already so heavy for my mom. She was losing her cat, and it had only been a few months since we lost our family dog too. It felt like too much all at once.

In the middle of that grief, I got on the phone trying to find somewhere, anywhere, that could help us in time. I called five vets. Two of them were so cold and dismissive to me, and it genuinely stunned me that anyone could treat a person that way during a moment like this. The other three just didn't have room. I remember sitting there feeling so lost, wondering how I was supposed to hold everything together for my mom when I couldn't even get someone to help us.

Then I found Seacoast. The receptionist who picked up changed everything. She was so gentle with me. She let me get the words out, she listened, she answered every question with so much patience, and she never once made me feel like a burden. After being brushed off twice already by the other vet clinics, her kindness hit me hard. I kept thanking her, over and over, because I didn't know how else to express what that meant to me in that moment.

When my parents brought our girl in later that day, the staff met them with the same tenderness. They were gentle, caring, and present with my parents during the hardest goodbye. In her final moments, our sweet girl was calm and peaceful, surrounded by her family and by the wonderful staff at Seacoast, who treated her with as much love as we did.

This clinic didn't just take care of our cat, they took care of us. They saw us as people who were hurting, not just another appointment. I will be forever grateful to Seacoast Animal Health Center for showing us so much compassion on one of the worst days of our lives.

“I am posting another 5 star review for the amazing staff at Twin Oaks - and especially, Dr. Watanabe! My dog had what appeared to be a partial nasal obstruction and I was terrified that it was a malignant neoplasm (I work in oncology). Dr. Watanabe made time to see us and discussed all options including a nasal exam under sedation with potential biopsy and culture. She immediately called after his pre-anesthesia labs were resulted which showed an elevated neutrophil count (WBC, which indicates a potential infectious process present). We discussed further and decided to try a course of broad spectrum antibiotics before sedation. Seven days later and my soul dog is healthy as can be (pic from his follow up appointment)! Dr. Watanabe was patient, considerate and medically judicious in terms of our options and next steps! An amazing team of wonderful people - we’ll never go anywhere else! ??“

“Dr Ichord and and his entire team looked after and cared for my beloved pets 5+ years ago. I relocated to Vegas and came back 7 years later with my new pup as my others passed a while ago and the vet entire practice etc. are here still. I was so relieved and happy. If that doesn't speak volumes on how great the care for your furbaby is, customer service and operations are Im not sure what will :) coming back this many years later and still extremely satisfied. I called so many vets clinics hospitals you name it the prices were all very very high for the exam, blood panel and more as, therefore the things you want to get many items addressed or done you have to do slowly if on a budget. There prices are way more reasonable and more family minded in my opinion. Dr. Ichord and even the front office team explains everything out to where you don't ever feel rushed, you don't feel like you left missing anything and your dog/animal comes out happy.
