The BEST vet. The doctor is amazing. Super trustworthy and you feel like you’re in good hands. Wish I found him earlier. Have been to him a few times and one occasion was a very successful TPLO surgery. Great staff as well.

I had the pleasure of visiting Discovery Valley Animal Hospital in San Marcos recently, for my newly adopted kitten, Pandora's, free checkup (a service provided through San Diego Humane Society and participating veterinarians, for adopted pets).The facility is located in the WinCo shopping center mall so there's plenty of up-front parking, including handicapped parking.I had a pleasant experience, all around. Reception was warm and personable as I was greeted and Pandora's information was quickly entered into their electronic records system (database).The reception area and lobby has a contemporary design and I found it quite comfortable inside. I really like this vet! I have been here with my foster kittens a few times. He had really good insights about one of the kittens having a foot issue and when the vet neutered them he did an impeccable job.This vet also seems like a great vet if you have birds. I don’t have birds but a lot of bird people come here with their birds for very complex issues from what I have seen.I’d highly recommend this vet to anyone looking for a solid, friendly, professional vet for cats, dogs, or birds.
