Since then, we’ve seen no further evidence of subterranean termites, and any new signs of drywood activity have been treated during annual inspections by Steve. Why am I confident these were real cases of new activity? For one thing, after 10 years of working with him, I trust Steve. My husband contacted many different roofing companies and Dean was the only one to come over (same day) and gave us honest advice. No work was done (we have a metal roof, and apparently there's some other issues with the way it was originally installed, which we were not aware of earlier), but he spent a lot of time explaining and provided many pearls of roof wisdom...best of all, he did this at ZERO charge. “We had a very old roof in desperate need of replacing. I met with 8 different roofing companies, a couple of which declined to even give me a bid because of the complexity of the project (we have a very narrow driveway/bridge, the home is custom and the roof has a lot going on including copper features, and the house is built into a hillside which make scaffolding tricky). Anyway, Ozone's bid came back in roughly the same ballpark as the other roofers. So my bottom line became who do I have the most confidence in in their ability and experience with the roofing products I had already chosen. I wanted to use a composite slate tile by DaVinci. When I had mentioned this to Spencer he shared that his company had installed DaVinci tiles many times and they had even installed it on his brother's home. The installation process went as smoothly as I could have hoped for. The crew was friendly, considerate, on time in the mornings, they cleaned up at the close of every day, and they moved the project along in a timely manner. Any questions or concerns that I had I texted Spencer and he got back to me in a reasonable amount of time. He made sure that I was 100% happy with my beautiful new roof. The roof is absolutely lovely. We are so pleased with the results and our choice to go with Ozone Roofing.“
