“Modular Remodeling and Design is an amazing company. They recently helped me with my home remodel design and the city permit for the same. Both Idan and Erez were super cordial and very professional in our engagement over the past one year. We wanted to extend our home, but were working on a fixed budget. Idan designed our place beautifully , meeting all our needs and keeping it within our budget. Design engagement was fast and efficient. What I was super impressed with was the speed at which they procured the city permits. I have heard stories from friends that this process takes 5+ months. But in our case our permits were done in roughly 2 months. This was primarily because of the solid work Modular did in the design phase. There were hardly any comments, and things went through very smoothly. I am super pleased with their work and highly recommend them. These guys know their stuff!!“

“We are SO pleased with our new sunroom! Robert Shipstead of GDM construction was a pleasure to work with. He let us know every step of the way what was happening, did what he said he would do every time. We never had to chase him. All of his crew were professionals in their specialties, did great work, cleaned up after themselves and were so friendly and helpful. Robert always goes the extra mile, even replaced a screen door that my husband accidentally broke, at his own expense. The quality of the room is excellent and adds some much needed extra space to our home. The room is so bright, cheery and comfortable and flows seamlessly from our kitchen. Robert took care of all of the details from laying the flooring to hanging the blinds, curtain rods and the ceiling fan. The only thing we did was paint the walls that he had already textured between the house and the sunroom. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him. And the cost was quite reasonable. “It was a pleasure working with Jordan and Shayna for our bathroom renovation. They make a great team - and their model is 'turnkey' - so you don't need any other resources to complete your project. Shayna was great when we were picking materials and we selected some great items together while also be conscious of our budget. Jordan was on site regularly through the project to ensure things were on track and done correctly. They set up a great Whatsapp group chat and were in constant communication on the project and decisions that needed to be made. They were also responsive to feedback during the project when we wanted something addressed (e.g., trash pickup). There was not a detailed plan developed for our project - they really just jumped in and started the work - and anytime something needed to be corrected along the way Jordan never hesitated to make it happen. Overall, the renovation came out great - they keep things simple through the project - are highly trustworthy - we passed all inspections (which they scheduled at the right times) - and delivered the project on time and on budget - effectively all the factors you'd want in a partner. Both George and Juan are professional, punctual, easy to communicate with, detail-oriented, and able to do everything we need. We had a countertop and backsplash installed, under-cabinet lighting, a range hood, a garbage disposal, a facet, and a hot water dispenser installed. “We've hired Hinkle Construction, Inc. (HCI) a few times for projects on our 1940s house, starting with an emergency repair of some outside walls after we discovered major termite damage. Most recently we had them remodel a bathroom, and there have been other smaller projects in between. From Mark on down, the folks that work for HCI have been polite, professional, skilled at their work, and interested in customer satisfaction. They have also been good at talking through aspects of projects to make sure that what we thought we wanted them to do would actually work well for us in the end (sometimes there were good reasons to do something different). Did they do everything perfectly all the time? No, of course not—they're good, but they're also human. But they clearly want to make their customers happy, and when they've made mistakes or we've had miscommunications, they have always made things right for us. I think their prices are fair, and I've been very happy with all of the subcontractors they've used, too. I hope to work with HCI again on our next project.“
