“Dr. Valette is the BEST. I was his patient for several years at One Medical, and I was excited to follow him to his new practice. He is incredibly knowledgeable and thorough, and at the new practice he has more time to talk through all of my health concerns. Appointments never feel rushed, and yet they still run on time. The best part about Dr. Valette is that he really listens to my health goals, and then makes sure everything serves those goals -- medication, lifestyle, supplements, etc. It's so much better and more comprehensive than working with a standard primary care doctor. I can't say enough good things!“

22 Battery St # 888, San Francisco“I’ve been seeing Giancarlo Centeno for a wrist/hand injury and couldn’t be happier. He did a very thorough first evaluation and really listens and cares — I’ve made great progress in just a couple of months.
The whole team is awesome: Zoe is super helpful and always checks in during sessions, and Carlie makes scheduling and insurance a breeze — efficient, warm, and a clear communicator.
The office is clean, well-equipped, and has a really welcoming atmosphere. It does get busy, so my first appointment took a bit to book, but after that everything’s been smooth.
Friendly team, great vibe, and effective care — highly recommend!“

220 Montgomery St #110, San Francisco“Nicole and Marty are awesome!! I had ACL/ Meniscus surgery on my left knee and went to Ultrahealth for my recovery. They are very detail oriented, passionate about helping people, and knowledgeable. Everyone there is also very kind each day walking in I am greeted with smiles and hellos! The program they designed was very well rounded and I was able to see great progress with my leg. They tend to multiple patients at a time which I really like because it builds community and I was able to meet other people with the same injury. Ultrahealth knows their stuff and really helped me to meet my goals after surgery. If you are an athlete looking to rebuild your body after surgery, injury, etc. this is the place.“

3150 18th St #334, San Francisco“I used to see Dr. Gregory regularly in San Carlos after a car accident, but I moved to San Francisco, and only saw her for chiropractic "emergencies" since it was definitely a schlep (that she is well worth). I am so incredibly glad she opened up an office in ActivSpace in the Mission in San Francisco! You can't beat the care. She is also inexpensive compared to other chiropractors in SF.
Dr. Gregory always figures out what the underlying issues is and is usually able to fix it. She is like House (Like Hugh Laurie, except doesn't always misdiagnose everything as Lupus). While it says she's a sports and extremities chiropractor, she really is amazing at diagnosing underlying issues. For example, my rheumatologist and endocrinologist were stumped for 9 months, she helped identify my issue as primary hypoparathyroidism. Most recently, she fixed my carpal tunnel syndrome and saved me from unnecessary surgery. Turns out, my second rib was out from a 30-year-old injury.
Although she doesn't take my insurance, she is so worth paying out of pocket (i could submit the superbills she provides, but my insurance is terrible, so I don't bother, as she really is affordable).
I couldn't recommend Dr. Gregory any higher.“

45 Castro St UNIT 315, San Francisco“Dr. Co is excellent, professional, and genuinely cares about patients. I saw him a couple times and then ran into him outside the office, and he stopped for about 5 minutes and asked how I was doing, and even answered questions that would usually require an office visit. Two years later, when the issue flared back up, I called the office and they resent my exercises within 5 minutes. Can’t recommend Dr. Co or his team enough!“

3040 Larkin St, San Francisco“After a recent sprained ankle, I needed PT to not only heal but to get my ankle in the best possible shape for an upcoming walking safari through rocky mountainous terrain. I don’t doubt I’ll have any issues thanks to Erica and her team of physical therapists’ help in accelerating my healing process. Erica takes the time to listen to my goals, and recommends the best treatments for each visit as well as home exercises with custom therapy handouts. Apex Physical Therapy is located across from Ghirardelli Square in a beautiful well-lit space with views of Aquatic Park and the Bay which is a bonus perk in the process of healing.“

22 Battery St Suite 600, San Francisco“If you are an athlete or a desk worker dealing with stubborn pain, do yourself a favor and see Dr. Cohen and the ProActive team.
The Issue: As an endurance athlete and avid tennis player who also works a desk job, I developed acute Achilles tendonitis. The pain was so sharp that I could barely walk when getting out of bed in the mornings. My podiatrist recommended new footwear, stretching, and not playing tennis. Even after resting and following that regimen for weeks, that did not stop the pain...which is made me seek out an alternative approach, because I did not like how long this was taking and I love being active.
The Approach: Dr. Cohen looks at the body holistically. He has an uncanny ability to understand how the entire chain connects—how the head (and even my thoughts!) affects the foot. He focused on realigning my overall posture and balancing out my muscles to address the heavy rotation from my sport.
The Result: The sharp pain completely vanished after a few sessions. It has been over a year now, and I am still 100% pain-free.
Dr. Cohen is incredibly intuitive and possesses a level of expertise that sets him apart from other healthcare practitioners. He doesn't just treat symptoms; he fixes the root cause. He is approachable, funny, good-natured, kind, and curious. I highly recommend him!“

I started my treatment when I was around 30 weeks pregnant and experiencing physical symptoms. They not only helped me effectively manage my pain, but also provided a lot of comfort throughout a challenging period.
I worked most closely with Dr. Casey - I have only the highest praise for her level of expertise, care, and kindness. My perinatal journey would not have been the same without her!“

2920 Webster Street, San Francisco“This team and their focus are the best, especially if you are an athlete or just an active person focused on wellness. I have done a lot of acupuncture and complementary medicine, as I work in the health tech industry and focus on longevity. Suzanne Lange is the expert clinician who addressed the needs of my sprained ankle that had pain memory for more than six months. With her care and expertise, my ankle is now completely without discomfort and any memory of injury as I walk and hike more than 5-6 miles a day. Ali Hakimi is also a highly attuned clinician who is working on my muscle pain and dysfunction deep within my hips and fascia muscles with dry needling and cupping. I cannot recommend this team more.“

“I have been seeing Dr. Brian for chiropractic adjustments and ART for several years, and I have had only the best experience in his capable hands.
As an active person and a business owner, having back and hip issues is a huge inconvenience, and a major bummer. Dr. Brian always gets straight to identifying the issue, and I'm good as new within a session or two. He is patient, highly knowledgeable, kind, and always has my best interest at heart. I can't recommend him highly enough!
I'm particularly glad I found him because I didn't know anything about ART (active muscle release), and the majority of what we do in a session is muscle release work in addition to a small amount of chiropractic adjustment. This helps reset my habitual movement imbalances that create the misalignment in the first place.“
