“I had a good experience at this repair shop with my ThinkPad having a TrackPoint issue. Ultimately, the issue wasn't resolved, because it seemed that motherboard replacement would be necessary. For a computer a couple of generations old, it's not really a worthy investment. The technician/Ed was forthcoming and wasn't trying to up-sell anything. Troubleshooting of this kind is rather technical, but it was completed within a reasonable amount of time, and the price for the service was very reasonable in the end. Thank you for your service.“

“I highly recommend Ameritech if you need warranty work done on Lenovo hardware.

I purchased an expensive laptop directly from Lenovo. When it arrived it seemed to work fine but after a few days I noticed that it would randomly reset. I was preparing to travel so I needed the laptop fixed urgently. I called Lenovo and they said I could mail it to them or take it to an authorized service center. I chose the latter and they referred me to Ameritech. I dropped the laptop off at Ameritech. Lavina at the front desk was very helpful. A few days later I have the laptop back and it is working perfectly. If I need any more work done on this machine I will certainly use them.“
