I highly recommend Dork Tec for your MacBook repairs. Recently, my MacBook screen wouldn't turn on. I took it to one shop in SF specializing in MacBooks that recommended against a repair because the expected cost would be more than a new MacBook. I then took it to the Apple Store who said they straight up would NOT do the repair. I gave up and decided I'd have to make the plunge to buy a new computer. But, before that... I decided to try one more shop... Dork Tec. Anthony who was there was so knowledgeable and seemed to know exactly what was wrong and quoted me much MUCH less than the price tag of a new computer. Anthony, who is the main person who operates things here, is really nice and very accommodating. The prices here are the best in town as well. Very inexpensive. I came to replace my old MacBook battery. Getting the battery changed at other repair shops can cost as much as the computer is worth. But this place gets it and doesn't try to rip you off at all. I highly recommend this place for you're old MacBook need some work. Anthony actually is very knowledgeable about computers and can answer any questions.Also, this review is for the location in San Francisco on Union St.

Not used the ' Tech Service ' as yet, but a friend has. The owner Anthony is a sweet human! I was taking a hike in de hood & he offered me a Glass of Complomentary Water ! Think I used the Restroom as well !! Good Neighbor !!! We first met @ Safeway on Solano where he was filling up on Filtered Water for the Cafe that he had planned to Open !!! Gr8 guy & the Reviews are Stellar too !!! Gonna send a friend over!!!
