“Jarod at Lean on Me Acupuncture is The Best! I was at Mission Beach on vacation for a month with severe pain from a pinched nerve in my neck. Pain meds and exercises from my PT were not giving me any relief. With each visit my pain started to leave. Jarod is so professional and so talented in acupuncture treatment that he can really help! The whole office is a friendly relaxing experience.“

“Okay, real talk: I got into a car accident and figured I’d tough it out. You know, “walk it off” like we used to do back in the day when seatbelts were optional and chiropractors were something your uncle warned you about at Thanksgiving. But then the stiffness kicked in… the aches… the weird creaking noise when I turned my head like a haunted house door hinge and my back felt like it needed something due to the pain. Enter: Dr. Jay Libs at Libs Chiropractic Center, a total game changer.

First off, let me say this: my neck has never been moved like that before. Ever. I didn’t know it could go in that direction, with that kind of precision. It was like he spoke fluent vertebrae. I half expected him to whisper, “We’re just going to gently reset your spine’s WiFi,” and then pop! , full signal again. Honestly, it felt like I upgraded my operating system.

Dr. Libs isn’t just skilled, he’s got that rare mix of wizard level knowledge, bedside comedian charm, and Zen master patience. He explained everything so clearly that even my 3am overthinking brain felt relaxed. He walked me through the treatment like a friend who just happens to know how to reassemble the human skeleton.

But here’s where it gets wild: my posture? Reborn. Like, people I haven’t seen in a while ask if I started doing yoga or standing up straighter for some mysterious reason. Nope, just Dr. Libs working his magic. At 45, that’s not just a win, that’s longevity. My spine’s out here acting like it’s in its 30s again. If I had gone to him ten years ago, I’d probably be an inch taller by now and hosting a TED Talk titled “Chiropractic Confidence: The Secret to Swagger.” (Working on it)

The man is compassionate, thorough, and actually listens, which in today’s world is a rare combo. Every session felt like both healing and hanging out with someone who genuinely wants you to feel better, long term.

To sum it up: Dr. Libs gave me my neck back, rebooted my posture, and quite possibly added a few extra miles to the ol’ chassis. If you’ve been in an accident, or just feel like your spine is one bad sneeze away from retirement, go see him. Your body (and your sense of humor) will thank you.“

“Where do I start?

I was diagnosed with stage4 endometriosis with multiple ovarian cysts. Earlier this year I had a laparoscopy to remove it all, including my right ovary that didn’t make it.

Fast forward to my time at Sage Haven.

My pelvic floor PT recommended this place to aid my healing & fertility journey.
Despite being Endo free I still struggle with other symptoms.
I’m about past halfway through my 12wk treatment plan with Dr. Ella & it has been a great experience.

Conventional medicine doesn’t know much about women’s health. So many times has an OBGYN thrown birth control in my face and told me this was “the only way” to keep Endo away. But I’m glad at Sage Haven, Dr Ella has listened to my concerns carefully & thoughtfully. My symptoms can be treated without the pill! Especially because my husband and I are trying to conceive.

My cramps, constipation and sciatic pains have been fire-cupped & acupuncture’d every week. My anemia has also been addressed with Chinese medicine.

My body temperature has increased (I always run cold because of my anemia), period abdominal cramps went from 10/10 pain to 3/10 (if you have endo you understand this is significant), and my constipation is the next thing that is slowly coming in to routine movements.

I truly believe with consistency, the body can heal. And my journey continues.

Along with my personal treatment, all staff members at Sage haven have been nothing but sweet, supportive & professional.
I highly recommend Sage haven!“

“I recently visited on point for acupenter and was thoroughly impressed with the level of care I received. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, explaining everything clearly throughout the process. Masha was attentive, listened carefully to my concerns, and provided a thorough diagnosis with clear treatment options. The clinic itself was clean and welcoming, and I appreciated the minimal wait time. I would highly recommend on point to anyone seeking quality healthcare.“

“Overall acupuncture was not for me. However, Fawsi and Rosita are extremely caring people and on top of that, very intelligent with what they do. When I found out acupuncture wasn’t helping my specific case, (genetic spine disorder, so I knew it was a long shot) they had no issue returning the money for sessions I was not going to use.
Very low pressure, very clean, very friendly.
Highly recommend for those in pain.“

“Dr. Epstein is awesome. I’ve been seeing him every couple of weeks for over a year now he not only does all the right adjustments to get your body back in alignment, he also gives you tailored exercise exercises so that you can continue to work on your ownbody while at home. I used to throw my neck out every couple of months and go see a chiropractor reactively since I’ve been seeing Dr. Epstein, I haven’t thrown my neck out at all because I’ve been treating preventatively.“

“Dr. Uzi is magical. I hurt my back in the same spot that I hurt it 7 years ago and it took me four months to recover from my herniated disc. This was only my 2nd session with him in one week, and I have 90% mobility in my back. I am so surprised by my quick recovery, but at the same time, he took as long as I needed in sessions to feel better and even offered extra time with the acupuncture needles in my back, as well as healing tape. I was very skeptical because his prices were $20 or more over the normal prices, but now that I have almost completely healed my back in 1 week, I am never going anywhere else. I can now walk my dogs with ease this week, and that’s what makes me happy.“

“Eyton is a miracle worker, as so many others have noted too. I had forearm, bicep, and shoulder pain from weightlifting and swimming - and he did an amazing job over several sessions diagnosing and treating the exact spots. My bicep pain was particularly deep, and he got to my brachioradialis by looking in his textbooks exactly where to needle.

He also has a great sense of humor and really put me at ease throughout the therapy.

I will keep going back each time i overdo it on exercise (being nearly 50, and probably pushing a bit too hard).“

“My message with Carole was easily the best massage I've ever had. She is very talented at what she does. Her massages are body work meets spirituality in a cozy, compassionate environment. I loved how she asked about my intentions for the service and was very attunded to what my body needed. It was nice and healing how she incorporated affirmations and vocalizations. I had a much needed emotional release and felt very supported and cared for during this portion of the massage. I will definitely be booking with Carole again :) Highly recommend.“

“I've been enjoying the healing services of Dr. Danny for over 20 years, thanks to a referral from my son. He is a miracle worker! Not only has he relieved me of the occasional pain of sciatica and lower back spasms, but he also provides exercises to strengthen my body and lessen the reoccurrences. I recently discovered his site that had wonderful videos of how to do the exercises correctly, which is so valuable in helping me remember.“

“Katlyn is new to Mission Bay and oh boy am I happy I randomly went to get one today and Kaylyn was there. I told my husband that it was the BEST massage I have ever had. He was shocked.

Massages are my jam, they are my go-to self-care for many reasons. So I’ve been to a lot of places, and styles and paid for a wide range. I’ve been to Wellness Lounge before, and the massage was decent. I think I always find a nice middle ground of things I like and don’t like when I go places.

She didn’t just go thru the motions of the massage, she really follows and pays attention to what was going in my body. Not only that, she is truly skilled! Her techniques and maneuvers were insane. Trust me. Book with her.“

“I've been seeing Adriana for over 2 years now (maybe 3? what is time?) and I absolutely trust her completely with my skincare. I look forward to every visit, not only is she a lovely person but she really cares about giving the best service and treatment plans.

I've had relatively unproblematic skincare issues up until last year, when I started breaking out repeatedly and all over my neck out of (seemingly) nowhere. It was Adriana who asked all the questions I didn't think to ask myself to finally realize it was a new medication I had started (I confirmed with my Dr - breaking out was a side effect that wasn't shared with me). Not only did she help me figure out that mystery, but she's really helped with the post-acne healing in the last few months fading the resulting hyperpigmentation with the treatments she's given me and her suggested at-home skincare plan.

I suggest Adriana to everyone I know! I love her and will keep coming back :)“
