“Dr. Sasha is truly a diamond in a rough and went above and beyond to ensure my cats received quality care. I’ve seen a lot of vets over the years, and none of them have been as kind and down to earth as Dr. Sasha. During the exam, she sat on the ground with my cats and was giving them all the pets and love while she was talking to me about their health history. I’ve never seen my cat so calm in someone else’s arms. Many, MANY vets have commented on my cats weight, but none did it with as much kindness and genuine concern as Dr. Sasha. “I’ve been to Midtown Animal Hospital several times over the last three years for my two cats—most visits planned in advance, with one or two semi-emergencies—and the staff is consistently warm and seems to like cats. We’ve gotten in and out relatively quickly every time. On one visit, the vet I worked with downplayed my tuxedo cat’s major anxiety (he always pants, cries, and pees himself when he’s out in a carrier), but on my recent visit, the vet prescribed him gabapentin, for which I am extremely grateful.“

Their kindness extends beyond medical care as well- they sent a beautiful handwritten sympathy card when our senior dog passed away and have always taken wonderful care of our other pets. “Updated for 2024! My family has now been taking animals to this facility for years - since 2014! When we first started coming here, we primarily had Dr. Chapman as our vet, but over time we saw Dr. Sangani more and more. A word of advice: the older reviews for the Dr. that talk about rudeness or lack of bedside manner weren't dishonest - /then/. Since 2014 Dr. Sangani has become our *favorite vet*, his manner of speaking and explaining things to people has become so much more welcoming, understanding and patient. Over the years we have fostered a good relationship with him and the wonderful front staff people. It's a relief to know that we can call at 8am and be able to speak to someone on the phone, get advice on what's going on with our pet, and be told to bring them in for help(usually the same week!). If they can't help us, they will refer us to someone who can, but 9/10 times we've been able to have a quick visit, get an antibiotic shot/anti-inflammatory and be on our way. Dr. Sangani also does X-rays and surgeries on site, and he helped us when our older car broke his hind leg years ago. We came out of that with a tri-pawd cat who lived another year or two, happily stumping around on three legs, before the meds he got every week could no longer keep up with his hyperthyroidism. We have had to make the decision to let multiple animals go due to illness over the years, and every time the staff here are kind and considerate - I feel like they love our animals almost as much as we do, and really see the pain we always have in making that final decision. Our house is full of a bunch of softies, so we have a habit of rescuing strays. Because we bring in so many in-need animals ourselves, we understand why Dr. Sangani does the trips he does. Be aware that for at least a couple weeks (sometimes more) a year, the hospital will be closed as Dr. Sangani does missions (a la Doctors without Borders) to help animals in less privileged countries. I am proud to be supporting a vet clinic that does things like that. 5/5 stars for us, and our 9 furry felines (+1 stray we are fostering at the moment!).“

My cat started hissing and he knew exactly how to handle him with bare hands lol. He let my cat be a cat during the exam but my cat knew the vet was the boss lol. “Highly recommend them if you have rescue kittens or fosters. They are very affordable and great about working you in. They work with rescue and foster pet parents and are very accommodating. They also offer payment options for rescue parents bringing in foster care or dogs for a non profit. They love what they do. Definitely recommend“

“The vet here is absolutely wonderful. His prices are the best in the area. The only office open 7 days a week. And open until 8 pm. He treated our Ginger at 7:30 p.m. Even stayed open late for her.
What I liked most was they were more concerned about our dog than getting payment. Most Veterinary offices need information up front and payment.
I love this office and definately will be transfering all my pets here.
