Progressive Motion Physical Therapy

“I've been working with Dr. Bryan Mai for a few years now and have absolutely loved my journey at Progressive Motion. I came in with a bunch of back injuries I'd never properly addressed, and their model of care has helped me recover and regain strength in ways I never thought possible. Bryan has been incredibly patient and supportive through my whole rehab journey, pushing me to understand my body and learn how to move in ways that support what I want to be doing every day, so there's real long-term change instead of just temporary relief. So grateful I found Progressive Motion, and their new facility in Redwood City is great too. Highly recommend!!! Thank you Bryan for everything :)) give this man a raise!“

Strength Athlete Rehab Physical Therapy

“I heard about Doctor Jeff through connections in the Bay Area powerlifting community. People at my gym highly recommended him, and now so do I.

I worked with Jeff over a span of four months, six in-person visits in total. Jeff fixed two different weightlifting injuries--- a pec injury and an unrelated elbow issue. Jeff was great at listening to my descriptions of pain triggers, using hands-on tests to diagnose injuries, and teaching rehab exercises. He'd reassess with each visit and change my rehab exercises each week based on my progress. He also helped program my powerlifting training during the rehab process. We progressed my bench program from limited range of motion back to full strength full range of motion.

Jeff is great at fixing injuries, and he's also a good guy!“

“Was feeling like I needed to wake my body up before I got back into some training...my outcomes were much more sustainable. Marcel is communicative, welcoming, provides clear expectations, space for client control and results. Did the 10 series. Each session had a different focus, but felt connected to one another. I experienced greatest/obvious impact early on (session 1) it felt like my walking gate completely reset...it was awesome, like reconnecting my brain and legs. I've played soccer for years and no doubt my body has been compensating one way or another for as long as I can remember - I started feeling balance. This kicked started a series of sessions/results that ultimately increased my full body range of motion, improved posture and core engagement, created a sense of deeper breathing, and feeling of flow in my movements. It's been about 3 months and I still can feel the effects...my mind/body connection is much stronger (like knowing immediately what to stretch/change if something feels off and being more confident on when to take breaks or lean in harder with exercises). I've been able to train and play soccer with more ease, less strain. Keeping it real, this is an investment. I decided I could redirect some spending to prioritize my body and health - my results were definitely worth it. Thank you, Marcel!“

“I’ve been to three other PT places; this is the best.one I've been to:
They’ve lockers , which is nice.
The therapist does an assessment and then recommends exercises.
They have fabulous assistants (I have Camilla and love her)that follow through to make sure I’m doing the exercise correctly. Shes kind, very knowledgeable and fun.
Then another assistant sets me up on the ice.
The therapist I use, Curt, is great, but I think they all are. He takes the time to explain how I’m doing and the different changes w exercises. ( they’ll print out or email the exercises ).He’s knowledgeable and has fun humor.
This is my to-go PT place and I tell everyone.“

“Ann was a godsend to my 80 year old mom after a fall, broken sacrum, and surgery. Without Ann, my mom would not have made the progress she needed to. Ann came to her home and my mom adored her. She has a gift of connecting with people. I told Ann that finding her was truly a blessing. My mom is now walking with a Walker, can get herself out of bed without assistance, using the restroom, and on her way back to her fully independent self. Ann communicated with me as well as my mom and was so responsive. I can’t say enough about how grateful we are to Ann’s expertise and kindness!“

“My favorite Sutter center. Care is easy to book, there's always parking and you can get seen quickly. If you make an appointment for urgent care, you get seen quickly too. You just need to make the appointment the night before. I've had mostly good experiences with the doctors here too. The facilities are nice and new.“

Stephania Humphrey Physical Therapy

“My review of Stephania Humphrey sounds like the others here, I came in with severe sciatica symptom pain that has plagued me for a year now, and this was a last-ditch effort to find some kind of care to avoid surgery. I had lumbar surgery 25 years ago, did not want another, and had seen specialist MDs (including prednisone pills and epidural cortisone injections), lots of physical therapy, and chiropractor during this past year, to no avail. I did get some improvement from an anti-inflammatory diet, but what has really helped me get my life back (in only 4 sessions) is the treatment from Stephania - especially the deep tissue massage. Wow; Truly worth it. Thank you, Stephania!“

“My Family and I have gone to see Lance and crew for over a decade now. Words cannot express the attention treatment and care we have received from both Lance as well as the Westcott family..
From months of planned appointments to emergency after game pain Lance was always ready to help.
Wescotts is very easy to get to. Parking always seems to work out great. The team is very competent caring and polite.
I highly recommend trying Lance and the gang out! You won't be sorry..

This is not a paid avert...“
