I was sent to Synovation and my doctor there has been Dr. Reed Levine. From the very star, Dr. Levine far surpasses any of the other pain management specialists I have encountered. He is exceptionally kind and perceptive. He has a great "bedside" manner and listens very carefully to his patients in a manner most doctors in the Workman Comp system do not. He has excellent diagnostic skills as well as being thoroughly versed in not just traditional approaches to mitigating pain, but also the cutting edge of patient care and new developments in the ongoing expan of new technologies and techniques for treatment. He impressed me when he treated my wife, but having him as my doctor, I have found Dr. Levine to excel at all aspects of his speciality. He is quite possibly the best surgeon in this field -- he's calm, a noted and brilliant critical thinker, and a skilled healer. I give him the absolute highest marks as a doctor, a surgeon, and a gifted healer. I recommend highly to everyone and anyone who's suffered and endured a or injury
I have been a patient here for almost 10 years and Dr. Levine has enabled me to live a life after a horrible injury. My Mom sees Dr. Levine as well, and he has helped her get walking again. Dr. Levine is fantastic. I had a horrible experience at LA County hospital and had to rush to get adequate pain control after they basically kicked me out of the hospital (cause I hit some threshold) Dr. Levine took me on as a patient, straightened out my pain meds, and worked with me to find a combination of meds that worked for me. Some did, some didn't. I think this business' Yelp rating is skewed by negative reviews from people that failed drug tests and we're upset they didn't get heavy-duty narcotics. This is a legitimate doctor and practice, this isn't Florida. If you've got cocaine in your system by California law they can't give you heavy duty meds. Dr Levine is as professional as they come. He is scary-smart and knowledgeable about cutting-edge treatments. He suggested Ketamine treatments as an adjunct to my regular pain meds. That's pretty neat that it is an option. After 10 years, I trust him implicitly. He has proven himself- really what I want and need in a pain management doctor is someone who will use their judgement to help me find therapies to get me through my day. I was pretty messed up after my injury and I lead a normal life now, I go to school and have a girlfriend and a kid now. Dr Levine has helped me get my life back! Try not just giving up and work with him. He cares about his patients and their well-being. I cannot say enough good things about him.
