Nearly 38 years ago we saw Dr. DeVore on an emergency basis, my wife being in her 9th month. Dr. DeVore skill detected a serious problem with our baby. He got on the phone to our gynecologist and order that our baby be delivered forthwith. The gynecologist tried to smooth this over and Dr. DeVore would have none of and spoke candidly and strongly to our gynecologist on the speaker phone so that we heard it all.
