“I can't speak highly enough about this place and the people here - I am so grateful to have found them. Over the past year, I have had many items dry cleaned and they have done an incredible job. Many of the items had been brought to other dry cleaners previously and the stains were not removed - it was Hail Mary to bring them in here and they look like new! They are very reasonably priced, I mean I would have paid much more for these services, but price is subjective. It is a 30 min drive from my house, but I will never get anything dry cleaned anywhere else. I wish I had before/after photos to share.“

“Would give her 10 stars! The owner is very friendly and understanding. She is obviously experienced in alterations etc. I have a small waist and larger hips, so pants never fit well without a tight belt and still wind up bulky and unflattering. I decided to get alterations for the waist of 4 pairs of pants/ jeans and they were perfectly fitted!! I literally couldn't find where they were altered. “My go-to dry cleaning place in the East Bay and owned/run by a lovely family. I would even drive 40min here for a couple of years when I didn’t live in Berkeley, because they are so trustworthy, high quality, and reasonable with their pricing. I’ve had a Zimmermann dress “go missing” from a premium dry cleaner in Manhattan, but I’ve been going to them for years and am always happy with their dry cleaning on my formal dresses, suits, sweaters, etc. Sylvia is also an excellent tailor!!!“

I have never come across a more caring company. Dutch Girl Cleaners heard that I was in a terrible car accident that had resulted in many broken bones and that I needed extra help. I posted online asking if anyone could help me wash and dry my family's clothes. I'm a disabled Army veteran with three boys at home, and on a limited income. The Bay Area is filled with generous people. I had offers from strangers to do the laundry.
Most were happy with the $30 that I could pay but I had an incredibly generous offer from the owners at Dutch Girl. Joe and his wife (owners) offered to do all of my family's laundry, free of charge, until I was feeling better and back on my feet. They also included free delivery and pickup. I was speechless. It was an amazing and thoughtful gift! With three boys, it was a lot of laundry! Joe took care of everything and put me on the next route to be picked up. Within a couple of days, all of my laundry was delivered, folded, and smelling so much better. I used their cleaning service for 8 weeks. There was never a delay or problem with any of the clothes. They have a very easy-to-use app, and I was texted before and after every pickup. DGC lifted a heavy burden from me in a very desperate time of need. We all had clean clothes again, and it was one big task I didn't have to worry about during my recovery. DGC is a great company and epitomizes the meaning of a community leader.“
