“My son joined Victory in March and I couldn't be happier that we did! My son is on the spectrum and he sometimes has a hard time coming out of his shell. I wanted to get him involved in something that would bring out his confidence, learn self defense, become a little more social, be more active and most of all give him something that he enjoys. Mr. Linderman and his team have been great! Mr. Linderman is always encouraging, patient and positive with all the students! He is dedicated with what he does and really puts in time and effort with each student and their families. He takes his time in teaching proper technique, discipline and confidence in a way that kids understand. I have noticed a difference with my son in just the short time he has been with Victory. He is slowly coming out of his shell and every time we leave Victory, he is walking out with a smile! Today he broke his board and he was beaming with pride. When we got in the car to leave he said very loud that he was so proud of himself and that he was so happy. That may sound small to some but, that is huge for him! Keep up the great work Mr. Linderman and Team and thank you for all that you do! You may not see it or hear it, but you are making a difference in your students lives!“

“I was looking for a martial arts class for my son in Morgan Hill. There was one closer to our house and we all connected really well with the instructor however the sales person was extremely pushy and that put me off.One of my friends told me about UAMA and how great it is. She has 2 sons in there and they love it.I went to go check it out and the lady at the front desk was friendly and answered all my questions, so we did a trail.My son was a shy kid. I wanted a place that would teach him a few things:Confidence, respect, structure, coordination, and of course self defense.So far United Academy has checked off everything that met our criteria.The instructors are patient and caring which is a must when working with the 4 and 5 year olds.We've been there for about 6 months and my son is so much more outgoing and he's connecting well with his teammates.This is a family owned business and I appreciate and enjoy that they also put on fun events for the families.Overall I highly recommend this place. It teaches more than punches and kicks but instills lifelong skills for kids and even adults“

“My son is in the middle of his second year learning and practicing Jiu Jitsu at Battle Control. It has been a great experience for him to become dedicated to something he not only enjoys, but has the opportunity to develop as a skill that will last a lifetime. He is one of the youngest in the adult class and Mr. Lara is very encouraging and patient with him. I love the fact that when everyone enters the building, pride is left behind. The more advanced belts mentor the novices, even in the middle of an intense roll, to help them improve technique. All-in-all it is a wholesome, friendly atmosphere and I'm thankful my son started his Jiu Jitsu journey here.“
